Farm eggs too we enjoyed fishing boating and sunning the deck at night is a great place to visit friends and fish we reserved for a week and asked to stay an extra three days we had a beautiful time Our last night was stormy with flooding in the area the cabin was high and dry and the owners came out at 1:30am to assure us we wouldnt flood! we didnt flood although much of Lafayette did"

  • Garden District Hidden Treasure

"We spent a month in this lovely apartment within an historic home in the Garden District. It is exactly as it appears in the VRBO ad and was very clean and well maintained. The owners are quite friendly and helpful and responded immediately to any questions. The location is perfect for sightseeing in New Orleans. It is one block off Magazine Street with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping, and a few short blocks to St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar. We rarely used our car as the streetcar and buses are very convenient. We highly recommend the WWII Museum, easily accessible by streetcar. On Magazine Street, there are two fabulous gelato places, La Divina Gelateria and Sucre. Also there is a CC's Coffee Shop and A Broken Egg for great breakfasts. There is too much shopping and too many restaurants within walking distance to list here. Fabulous location and beautiful apartment!"

  • Clean Quiet Fun

"Clean, Quiet, Quaint. Great alternative to French Quarter options with an authentic NOLA feel. Easy access to Canal St and Quarter during ferry hours. Uptown, Garden District was a cinch to get to via car and the bridge is free. Taxi driver was happy to take us back one night though needed some help navigating the one ways in the neighborhood. Closest groceries might actually be French Quarter...that's what we did. Not 100% on that though. At least two local pubs frequented by few (if any) tourists. At least one great cafe down to the street serving espresso and breakfast. Water is hot, A/C is cold, parking is free and the owner is responsive and easy to work with."

  • Gem of the French Quarter!

"This property is absolutely gorgeous. The photos cannot do it's charm any justice. It's exactly what you might think a New Orleans abode should be, and more. Our host was incredibly gracious; just a total gem. A group of 6 of us stayed in 2 of the apartments over New Year's Eve and just had the best time. It's in a perfect location in the French Quarter, everything was at our fingertips. In summary, we are all just dying to get back!"
