  • Absolutely perfect

"This is a beautiful home, very nicely furnished in a fantastic location. Very quiet, just across from a park, yet walking distance to Bourbon St and the jazz clubs. Has a garage and 4 private bedrooms with their own bath/shower. Lovely veranda's off one bedroom and the living room which is very large. TV's in every room if you care, including a large screen in the living room. The kitchen was stocked. It is on three floors with an elevator and Gayle was delightful to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We were a group of 4 guys (age 65-72)"

  • Perfect choice

"We just completed a weekend stay for a college reunion of sorts. The 3 bedroom unit was just what we needed. A quiet neighborhood that's close enough to the fun New Orleans provides. There are things close enough to walk to including the streetcar or a great burger place about half a mile a way. With 8 beds can easily sleep a good size group. Chris was responsive and fair, I would for sure stay here again."

  • New Orleans Weekend

"We stayed at this house last weekend and were blown away. The house is amazing and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and the trolly is across the street. We walked to Magazine street for dinner and even walked to the French Quarter and the WWII museum. The beds and linens were 5 star quality. We are already talking about staying there again."

  • Location can't be beat!

"My husband and I stayed for a few short days in March. The location just can't be beat. Walking distance to everything and close and central. We were only in the condo to sleep and to drop off purchases during the day. If I was planning to sit inside all day I would consider it too small, but since that is not what New Orleans is about it was just perfect. Small, cute, clean. We used the fridge but not the cook top, patio, laundry or bikes. It was very quiet and we always felt safe. It's on a well traveled street with many shops. Check out the seance room in Muriel's (ask the bartender). The owner of Boutique du Vampire (just around corner) was fun to talk to and helpful . She gave us lots of great ideas for sightseeing. We took the trolley (rather unreliable on our particular day- it broke down twice and was crazy crowded) to the Garden District- nice cemetery and local architecture. Bourbon St is just as you would expect....crowded, loud, street performers, drunks, neon, great music, smelly at times. A must see for sure. We preferred Frenchmens Street. It had good music and food without the neon. It's a further walk but worth it. We felt safe walking back late at night too. That's when we stopped at Cafe du Monde for a midnight snack w/o the usual lines that are usually out front. The locals were very nice in our experience. Pack COMFORTABLE, broken in shoes. I was desperate for a better pair of walking shoes and didn't find any until our last day when we walked down Canal St on our way back from the trolley drop off. Canal has shopping (mainstream) and a casino. You can walk from the trolley down Canal St to the waterfront, then walk along the waterfront back to the Quarter. Nice stroll. Anyway, enjoy your time. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's much better than shelling out $100's more for a hotel room."
