"My wife and I visited New Orleans November 1st to 7th, this being our 3rd trip to the city.
Prior to our arrival, Shelly provided us with information about restaurants, shopping and things to do during our visit to New Orleans. This was a great help in our planning.
Our flight arrival was quite early and Shelley was able to accommodate an early check in. After getting settled we walked approximately 20 steps up the street to the famous Napoleon House for a muffuletta and a Pimm's cup.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this condo is in the perfect location. It is two blocks from Jackson Square, close to the waterfront, the French Market and Cafe Beignet. It is a short walk to Frenchman Street for amazing jazz performances. Many great restaurants are within walking distance. Brennan's was a particular favourite of ours. Grocery shopping is a short walk away at Rouses market.
The ground floor condo is accessible through a gated entrance and overlooks a courtyard. We took full advantage of this courtyard by enjoying coffee and pastries from PJ's each morning. The patio table in the ad is directly outside the entrance to Shelley's condo. We seemed to be the only people using it during our week. The condo has a full kitchen equipped with all you need to feel at home. The windows and french doors provide plenty of natural light throughout the unit.
The Queen sized bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa in the living room. There is a TV in the living room and also one in the bedroom. There is ample storage in both the bedroom and bathroom for your belongings. You do not have to live out of your suitcase in this unit! There is a great supply of towels and linens available.
This condo has been lovingly restored with quality and comfort in mind. We would definitely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed staying at this condo during our visit to New Orleans. The location was great; on a quiet street in the French Quarter, very close to all the action. We found ourselves walking around different parts of the area and then stopping back at the condo to take a break before going back out again. The owner provided a visitor’s guide that included a walking tour of the French Quarter, which we took the first day. This really got us oriented to the area, and we were able to stop off at the condo for a short break without even going out of our way. We also liked the walking tour of the Garden District that was in the guide. A couple of blocks away is another interesting neighborhood for walking, Fauburg Marigny and the Frenchman St. entertainment district.
The apartment is small, but was totally adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable and there was closet space and a dresser so we could completely unpack. The kitchen had everything you’d expect in a home, all in good condition. The condo is an old French Quarter style building with French doors that have wooden shutters. We were able to open the shutters to the living room as well as the entryway, but not to the bedroom, so the only natural light in the bedroom came from the entryway. The exposed brick in the living room was lovely.
Bill responded to my emails very quickly, answered all my questions, and was accommodating in sending us the key early, since we were going to be away from home for a while before getting to New Orleans. I would definitely recommend staying here."

"This house was perfect for our group. We had 4 couples that stayed in this beautiful home. We really liked the hardwood floors, spacious, open floor plan & the quaint architectural touches. The Arabi community was very welcoming & safe. The Arabi Food Store & Cafe was an easy 3 block walk & a perfect place to grab a breakfast sandwich or beverage. Less than a mile away was a quaint little bar called Perino's. Lots of hospitality & fun & close to home. A quick ride in the Arabi Cab service & we were in the French Quarter. Arabi Cab was very timely and provided us with the opportunity to enjoy all the French Quarter had to offer!
We made lots of wonderful memories on our first trip to New Orleans....many of those memories were due to our stay in this beautiful home & the surrounding area.
Larry was a gracious host. I had a ton of questions for Larry before & during our trip. He was always very prompt in his reply. I plan on calling Larry on our next visit."

"Been coming to Tiledo Bend for 40 yrs and this is the best place to stay. Cover over pier was great addition. Fishing was great. 95 large mouth and white bass caught. A few even caught trolling the cove.
