"Our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents (80+) had a fabulous time here. The distance to French Market, streetcar, Jackson Square, Frenchmen Street, grocery store, deli, and tasty restaurants were all just a few blocks from the house. Listened to Delfeayo Marsalis at Snug Harbor on Frenchmen - this is a must if you're here on Wed - one of the few places our teens could go. This is a secure and quiet residence with every amenity you would need. We had a rent car but didn't use it - the streetcar or Uber (recommended) were primarily used to get to places that were not within walking distance. Sonny was very kind and was prompt with all questions that I had. We all had an excellent time and hope to be back soon!!"

"We were two natives returned home to play for a week. The first word in the title of Frankie's Place (FUN) was all I needed to give it our consideration. Frankie was very easy to work with and was gracious even though we were searching the evening before arrival. He had a parking space set aside for us and let us know of his favorite local eateries in walking distance. For the most part we spent our evening time on Frenchman at Bamboula's. Best fried oysters we had ever had and our first intro to an Abita "strawberry gator". Delish! We stayed aware, but never had any major stranger dangers in walking to and from Frenchman or the Quarter at night. It was fun in the morning to swing the doors open and drink coffee at the patio table in front of the door. It put us VERY close to the locals who were all friendly, maybe one a little too friendly :o) The Friendly bar across the street started perking up in the late afternoon and stayed audible until the middle of the night, but thanks to Frankie having Apple TV, we could play a nice "summer rain" noise through the speakers and drown out the street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the flat was outfitted with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Being able to eat in and do laundry was a huge plus. IF you are able to travel with your bike, there are TONS of folks in the Marigny pedaling around, you might like to join them. We would definitely recommend this flat. Just bring your ipad, iphone or other device with a good white noise app for quieting down the fun outside!"

"We stayed a week at this property. Relatives met us there and no one wanted to leave. The house is beautiful and very clean. The grounds are gorgeous. The guys fished in the pond and totally enjoyed it. We drove into New Orleans several times. We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do so we will have to return. You can bet that this house will be our first choice for lodging. It is a very relaxing setting. Very peaceful and quiet. There is enough things to do nearby to keep you busy but you may be tempted to just stay at the house and relax while enjoying the property."

"We booked the house for our wedding week so our wedding party could stay together. We will never forget this week! We loved how unique this house was. Perfect for a large group. The pool was great to relax by in a gorgeous setting. Some things to note-The down stairs rooms are joining with access through the main room (which isn't very private). Also, the 3rd floor rooms you have to access the second room through the first and also share the bathroom in the first room. Something to note for room assignments if people are picky. Otherwise all our other guests loved their beautifully decorated rooms. The construction on the trolley line starts at 7 am and lasts pretty much all day which was loud after a night of drinking. :) There also was a lot of traffic due to this. The nice thing about this place is its close to two very good restaurants- Superior Seafood and Pascale Manale- if you want your oyster fix. Kimily the owner was great and very accommodating. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again!"
