"The owner of this property couldn't have more on target regarding this property. Clean, well appointed, convenient and as comfortable as we could have hoped. If you need a home away from home and don't want to be in the noise of the tourist sections of New Orleans this is as good as it gets. We loved our week here and would go back if the opportunity arises. Great VRBO experience!"

"We spent 3 nights at Erin and Kevin's place in October, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay there. The house is renovated, clean and well done, with touches of NOLA everywhere. The neighborhood was perfection. A 10 minute walk in one direction to Frenchman, and in the other direction to the Bywater. It's also just a little ways from the French Quarter if that's what you're looking for. The house is on a street with mostly local residents, and when we arrived, there was a Friday afternoon stoop party next door, which got us right into the NOLA spirit. Erin was incredibly helpful and lovely. We would definitely stay there again on our next visit. Thanks for the great place!"

"My boyfriend and I were in NOLA for a graduation weekend. We loved staying at this residence. It is a great location, out of the french quarter (think quiet!) - but close enough to go in for dining. Also block and half from Magazine street, with great restaurants and antiquing. We spent an entire day relaxing at the pool. The home has been beautifully restored and the hosts are very accomadating.
Would highly recommend!"

"My Husband and I stayed in the Carriage house on Royal Street during the last week of Mardi Gras. (Our first visit to NOLA). From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a fabulous choice. The location was perfection, walking distance to all the top galleries and fine dining, An easy walk to Cafe DuMonde and Jackson Square, and if you like, to Bourbon street. Even though we were only a block from Bourbon, it was quiet and felt safe. Its easy to get a pedi cab to the parades if you need one. The carriage house is small, but comfy, the big bed was filled with pillows to sink in and sleep like a baby after a day of exploring. Tiny kitchen was perfect for making morning coffee and late night snacks. Bathroom is tiny but has everything you need. You must love old houses and expect this vibe here,This isnt a cookie cutter hotel experience. The courtyard was beautiful filled with flowers and fruit trees. if you want to absorb the French Quarter atmosphere and true Southern Hospitality look no further, The owners were fabulous and invited us up to the main house to toss beads from the Gallery and have a cocktail. The Main house is amazing and filled with beautiful art and details. We hope to come back with our adult sons and rent the main house in the future. The big house second story would be a Honeymooners dream, large canopy bed and fabulous decor. We cant wait to come back!!!!"
