  • perfect location

"No need for a car with this property! Walking distance to everything. This apartment has a washer and dryer too along with laundry soap, coffee pot and seasonings to cook with in the kitchen. We loved this property but there is a jazz club below and will play music until 3 am some nights. Bring earplugs! Otherwise the apartment is beautiful and perfect for anyone. The balcony view over frechman street is great. We even had a marching band come by! Celebrated my 40th birthday here and had a blast. We even found 40th birthday plates and hats left behind by someone else. A trip we will never forget!"

  • Honeymoon Cottage

"This was our third stay so obviously we LOVE IT! Never have had a summer stay but would like to soon. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary this time and as always it is a nice relaxed environment and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. My wife has severe arthritis and the hot tub makes it possible for her to tolerate all the walking we did during the day. Perfect for a couple looking for roamtic get away. We also love the Cafe/Bakery caddy corner form the front door for early BF or lite lunch. All around great time and great place!"

  • Lovely charming suite

"Condo was very clean, well equipped, laundry facilities, quiet, and perfect location. Loved the Court yard and garden, and the neighborhood was most impressive. Stunning architecture, within close walking distance to lively and interesting Magazine street, natural food market and trolley which takes you to the French Quarter. The owner was great to deal with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it"

  • A little bit of heaven

"While I could certainly reaffirm the many positive comments of folks who have stayed here before us – location, amenities, comfort, etc. – I’ll go into a few of the things I enjoyed most. As background info, this was a spring break jaunt for me, my husband and 18 year old daughter, and the condo was big enough for all (but small enough to be adorable by my standards!) You know how sometimes you can tell what kind of day you’re going to have the minute you step into the shower? Well let me tell you that a day here begins with lots of hot water, a pulsating shower head, and fluffy soft towels. Coffee is brewing, cool air is coming through the doors all along the balcony, and the sound of birds in the area welcomes you to the day. Heading out for the days adventure, you can turn down Bourbon Street at the corner or continue down Esplanade and meet up with the Riverfront Trolley at the end of the street. Stop off at the French Market first, and catch a Mexican lunch at El Gato Negro right across the street from the big tents. Further into the French Quarter is Café du Monde – that’s a tradition worth going off your no-sugar diet for, and be sure to keep your ears peeled for Wael Elhalaby, a street musician playing beautiful violin music around the French Quarter. Lots to do and see, and while resting up between sightseeing and dining, I most enjoyed plopping in the cool enclosed courtyard of the condo, with a book in hand – you can’t get that kind of serenity in a hotel. At the end of the day you’ll begin to smell the delicious scent of burgers wafting from the Port of Call, directly across the street from the condo. You won’t be able to resist the siren’s call of that meal, and even if you find that you have to wait a bit, it’s well worth it. Rolling contently back across the street, a comfy bed awaits. After a good night’s sleep, it’s back to the shower and another memorable day. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Emir again should my travels take me to New Orleans. Enjoy!"
