"2 couples stayed at this great location for a dental convention the same weekend as French Quarterfest. This is the first time we have tried a VRBO listing for New Orleans rather than a hotel. Easy drive to convention area and streetcar access a block away. There is a big Rouse's market as well as a Freshmarket closeby. There are many excellent restaurants closeby without going into the Quarter if you want to miss the typical tourist spots. We enjoyed Superior Seafood Restaurant just across St. Charles, as well as a beignet cafe on the corner without fighting the crowds at Cafe DuMonde. There are many new restaurants in the Uptown Midcity area. The streetcar service is great, running late in and out of the French Quarter. The bungalow was clean, gave us a home type feeling and the parking is certainly a bonus. We will stay here again!"

"We had a great time during our stay. The best fishing that had was not off of our boat, it was off of the Y Knott pier. The boat ramp was almost too steep for an F-250 and a pontoon boat, but hey, we got it launched. There is an awesome view of the lake from the back deck and the music can be heard from everywhere, even the pier. Thanks Thomas, we had a great time."

"My wife and I were in NOLA for a convention and absolutely loved this place. We had flight delays and did not arrive til very late and the owner still picked up the phone to assist on our entry. What a great owner!
Walk three blocks and you are in the French quarter with one of the best areas to have great food and a multitude of live music every night. We befriended the neighbor hood cat and had a great time. It was nice to come home to the huge leather couch and watch TV before we headed out for the evening. Loved all of the wood floors and counters which go well with the beautiful chandelier. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely stay here again next year."

"For a crew of 10 and only 1 car, this house was in the primo location for us to move around the city during Jazz Fest weekend. The proximity to Pascal's Manale and Charlie's Steakhouse were both nice bonuses, as well as the Il Posto coffee shop. All three places within one block. Would recommend the house for other types of groups and trips but for Jazz Fest, I couldn't imagine it being a whole lot better given it's central location to the Fairgrounds (~12 mins), Tipitina's (.8 mile walk), The Maple Leaf (~8 mins) and the French Quarter (~12 mins)."
