  • Fun, short weekend

"10 family members celebrating a 50th anniversary. This was our 2nd stay at the house rental but this time also rented the cottage. It was a hot weekend and the fishing wasn't that great but we enjoyed sitting on the deck at the water, under the shade of the trees, enjoying beverages and family time. We also enjoyed watching the horse races on TV at the outdoor bar/kitchen and with the fans provided at the bar area it made for a cooler place to sit during the hottest part of the day. We once again utilized the barbque pit nearest the house for meals and I can't say enough how nice it is to have the ice maker provided! So easy for keeping drinks (or fish) in an ice chest outside. Thanks again to the groundskeeper for helping us out when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cottage. We enjoyed another visit and hope to do it again in the future!"

  • Covington Cottage Great Experience!

"Our family has stayed here twice. The property is quiet, clean, neat and each room has a distinct function. The property is tastefully decorated. The kitchen is great with a nice patio for outdoor eating. We stayed in the area in both the winter and spring, heating and air work really well. Short drive to grocery stores, Old Covington restaurants, Bogue Falaya Park and local sights such as the Insta-Gator Farm & Honey Island Swamp tours. Close proximity to access I-190/Causeway approach into New Orleans. We drove in almost everyday either for work or sightseeing. We would stay here again!"

  • Perfect location for true New Orleans experience

"I traveled with 2 girlfriends to New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival. We stayed at this perfect condo. Beautifully furnished with lots of antiques set in a building that surrounds a beautiful courtyard with swimming pool. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need if you are staying long enough to cook. The location makes it an easy walk to area restaurants and the Quarter. This is my third stay in this condo and I must say I enjoy it more each time. The pool is sooo cool and relaxing after spending the day in the Quarter eating great food and listening to great bands. I definitely would go again and reccomend it to couples or small groups. One of the best girl trips ever!!"

  • Great place!

"Our family of 4 loved staying here. Next to lots of great places. We loved the coffee shop around the corner (Fair Grinds Coffee House). Our two small kids had a great time. When we arrived, there was a large air bed that looked like it converted to a little couch blown up for us already. The kids slept on that. We slept on the spacious king bed in the next room. The neighbors next door are also super friendly. We would definitely come back and stay here. The only thing young families should look out for is the fact that the place is on the second level, and the railings on the balcony are quite low. So anyone could easily fall over the railings. We kept a close watch on the kids if they stepped outside."
