  • Best Kept Secret

"Miss Pat's little Creole style bungalow is a wonderful find for anyone wanting to explore New Orleans. Not only is the bungalow fairly well centrally located near the French Quarter, but her property manager, Glen, was very accomodating if we needed someone to drive us! The bungalow was filled with books on local history, architecture, etc. and was quite comfortable for a married couple and two single gals. Although we never really cooked, the kitchen was quite well appointed and we could have put together some nice meals, but we wanted to sample the food in New Orleans! Our bed (I'm part of the couple) was amazingly comfortable and my husband and I both slept very well. The twin beds for our single friends were reported to be very good as well. You can't go wrong staying here and Miss Pat's warm welcome certainly added to our experience in the Big Easy. I should not forget to mention the wonderful garden area that we had little time to enjoy during our 3 day stay here. Lovely place just to hang out."

  • Lush plants surrounding this hidden gem!

"This place was amazing! First, we had a slight miscommunication with the number of people. We had 8 in our party, which the description states it sleeps 8. There was certainly enough "room", but if you are planning on 8 beds, plan on bringing an air mattress. There was a roll away cot, which sleeps one, and the king is expected to sleep 3. However, the couch is so comfortable, the two in our party actually chose to sleep on the couch as opposed to air mattress/cot that was provided to us. The pictures of the interior are spot on, but the outside pictures of the pool/patio do not do justice. It was 100 times better!!! It was so relaxing to swim in the evening while listening to the sounds of nature, and Caption John, who is one of the best guys you could meet, shared his home and stories with us, and taught us about his birds. It's certainly not minutes from the French Quarter and we did not have a car, but we took the bus, which is just down the street and very easy and cabs home. Though it may seem like the area is "sketchy" or "ghetto", it's how all of New Orleans looks, not just this area. After all, they did survive probably the most horrific hurricane and have had to rebuild. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable during our stay. This was such a great place and we look forward to our return!"

  • Love New Orleans! Love this location!

"My family and I stayed in this condo over Wrestlemania weekend. For the price and convenient location, this condo couldn't be beat. It is a 2 bedroom condo, but is run like a hotel, complete with a front desk staff and maid service. The balcony is fantastic. Location couldn't be more perfect as it is walking distance to anywhere in the French Quarter, and yet far enough away from the main action that you can actually sleep at night. Parking is limited, so if you must park your car, I'd suggest arriving early upon check-in and not leaving until check-out. There is a street car stop less than a block away and you can access most points of interest via public transportation. The front desk staff was very helpful in explaining public transportation options. I hope to stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans!"

  • Home Away From Home

"We planned our vacation 6 months in advance of our travel date to NOLA and we had considered many options for lodging and finally decided to rent your beautiful home. Judy, your home was our home away from home. It was comfortable, warm, and was equipped with everything we needed. The grocery store and bus stop was a very short walk so it was convenient without a car. Our trip was fabulous. Thank you!"
