"We had group of 10 ladies visiting New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival. The house was gorgeous it was everything we needed. There was no problem checking into home. It was very spacious. The commute from the house to the Mercedes Superdome and French Quarters was not bad at all. We loved the fact that we had a central meeting area to eat and mingle together. The house was best decision instead of hotels. All the women loved the natural light coming through the windows and all of the closet space. The front/back porches was very relaxing for early morning mediation and coffee. I was happy to know the pictures posted of the home is what we got and more. We will definitely return."

"The girls and I opted to find a condo to rent instead of a hotel during the Essence Festival and I can say we weren't disappointed. The condo is just a few steps from Bourbon but not the end of Bourbon that gets a lot of traffic which was perfect for us. I loved the fact we were essentially in the heart of the French Quarters which allowed us to easily get to some of my favorite restaurants and had the cutest boutiques which allowed for plenty of shopping. The condo itself was awesome. Very cute and could easily accommodate 6-8 people (especially since it had 3 full bathrooms). There were only 3 people in our party so we each had our own living quarters. One thing to note is that I tend to not be able to sleep with there is a lot of outside noise but the only thing I heard was a little music from one of the bars and it didn't bother me at all. The music wasn't blaring which was a good thing. I would absolutely stay here again.
As for parking there is a hotel right down the street that charges $35 per 24 hours for parking. This worked out well for us as well since there are some hefty parking restrictions in the area."

"The Oulala House is the best gem in New Orleans by far. The house was so great that we had trouble actually leaving! Michelle and her sister Lisa were fabulous hosts! We felt very well taken care of. There were a lot of wonderful places nearby. I highly recommend La Madeleine right across the street. :-) It was so easy hopping the street car a block away! Stay here!!!!"
