  • A great spot in the Quarter...

"We enjoyed this comfortable, cozy place and found the location totally ideal. Close enough to walk to any of the French Quarter's attractions yet just far enough away from the bustle of the night life to sleep soundly. Packed with NOLA charm. Pedi cabs and horsedrawn carriages could be found going by and it was a short walk to the streetcar and bus stops as well. A great little grocery around the corner and killer coffee shop as well. The owners were awesome. We needed a favor and they were quick to help us out. We loved it and will stay here again."

  • Love New Orleans! Love this location!

"My family and I stayed in this condo over Wrestlemania weekend. For the price and convenient location, this condo couldn't be beat. It is a 2 bedroom condo, but is run like a hotel, complete with a front desk staff and maid service. The balcony is fantastic. Location couldn't be more perfect as it is walking distance to anywhere in the French Quarter, and yet far enough away from the main action that you can actually sleep at night. Parking is limited, so if you must park your car, I'd suggest arriving early upon check-in and not leaving until check-out. There is a street car stop less than a block away and you can access most points of interest via public transportation. The front desk staff was very helpful in explaining public transportation options. I hope to stay here again on our next trip to New Orleans!"

  • A Very Happy Birthday!

"Me and 11 other people rented this house for 3 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday and I can not even explain how great this house made the trip!!!! It is so "NOLA" that the house itself made you feel like you were getting the full experience. That being said, you're never going to spend that much time in the house anyway because it is in the middle of EVERYTHING! You can walk to anything that is worth seeing; great restaurants, every bar you can imagine, the Riverwalk, the mall, Jackson Square (which has fortune tellers!), street shops, grocery stores, museums, and more. The owner was on - site in case you needed anything, but we called him the house ghost (a very appropriate title for NOLA) because unless you needed something you never saw him. There is a great balcony for coffee in the morning and a book (which the house provides a full library) or to watch people Bourbon Street crawl at night. Also a full kitchen, which worked great to make breakfast in the morning for the whole group and all 12 of us could eat together in the main room. The house is clean, a conversation starter, and incredibly home -y for such a large space. If your in the market for a house that will impress everyone you're coming with and make your trip memorable STOP LOOKING YOU FOUND IT!!!!!!! THIS HOUSE MADE ME WANT TO MOVE TO NEW ORLEANS! !!!!!!"

  • Exceeded Expectations, Perfect Location!

"My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in December and just loved it. We drove through a horrific ice storm and arrived 6 hours later than planned but that seemed a distant memory once we arrived. I can't even begin to tell you how pleased we were when we opened the door and crossed the threshold. It was warm, welcoming, nicely decorated, comfortable furniture, huge closet, laundry, the works. Pictures do not do it justice, it exceeded our expectations. We did not cook but did use some basics in the kitchen for left overs and such, it was well appointed, great size, loved the counter space. I used the wifi daily for remote access to work, no problems, good strength and speed. For a 10 day stay, there was nothing lacking and nothing worth complaining about. There is a coffee shop just down the street a few houses away which was very convenient, though now I am now addicted to mochi with nowhere to get them back home! The neighborhood was great, fun to explore, we met many very friendly neighbors and locals including cats and roosters. The porch was lovely for just watching the world go by for a little bit here and there. Though we had a car, we rarely used it. It looked like there were bikes available in the back but we did not use them. I love exploring NOLA on foot so I can get into all the nooks and crannies. Some of my favorite places for music were just 3 or 4 blocks away on Frenchman, awesome! On rainy days or for longer distances, there was a bus stop less than a block away on the same street that got us to Canal where you can make a connecting bus or streetcar to get just about anywhere else in the Garden District, Uptown or Mid-city. The bedroom was a good distance from the living area which was nice as the old man is an early riser but I tend to sleep in. He watched tv, did laundry, or made phone calls in the mornings and I never heard a thing. Lastly, we did not really have a need to contact Larry during our stay but I found him to be very pleasant to deal with and easy to reach when making arrangements prior to our stay. Every time I leave NOLA it somehow feels like I'm leaving home. Given the neighborhood and the comfort of this place as a home base, that feeling was much stronger this time around. Absolutely no complaints, hope to walk through that door again 11 months from now."
