Wonderful place in a fabulous location in New Orleans!
"We loved our time at the Fest Nest! It had everything we needed and it was so close to everything! The neighborhood has so many fun things to do and see within walking distance. Restaurants, a grocery store, a laundrymat, wine store, and beautiful City Park was just a few blocks down the street.
I highly recommend a stay here! Very, very clean. Comfortable king sized bed. Cable TV, wifi. Fully appointed kitchen. Charming neighbors next door. Off street parking. Perfect place for a getaway to the Big Easy!"

"This was my first time in New Orleans. I stayed 6 days in this roomy one bedroom, eat in kitchen, living room and full bath cottage. I was provided enough breakfast items for my full stay, eggs, cinnamon buns, yogurt, fruit, English muffins, jam, coffee, tea, cookies, etc. The house is nicely decorated with photos of the greatest jazz artists, the bed is comfortable, the area is secure, the air conditioning and ceiling fans were a welcome delight from the 90 degree weather and Bob is attentive if you have any questions. It is centrally located with off street parking. Checkout Free Tours on Foot for a great experience and tours of the French Quarter, Garden District and Culinary Delights. I was kept so busy I did not have time to enjoy the lovely garden in the backyard. I highly recommend the Jazz Cottage!"

"We came to NOLA for a family event and could not have had a more pleasant stay. We spent one night in a hotel near the French Quarter and the next two here, which is situated on a lovely oak-shaded street where we could walk to dinner with at least four choices and also could walk for coffee in the a.m. A coffee machine was available at the cottage but I didn't carry any with me and it was a lovely walk and delicious! The location was perfect and I would definitely recommend this. It was a quick drive to the city and the neighborhood is so charming I felt I saw the real New Orleans. I believe you could get to a bus line if you needed to without hardship, but I drove and so took my car to revisit the city so I cannot comment on public transportation. New Orleans is awesome and this sweet, quaint location made my trip that much better."

Wonderful place to stay our first time in New Orleans.
"Herb has a great set up. We loved the studio and how it was a close drive to the French Quarter but in a beautiful neighborhood. Each morning I walked the the coffee shop and then enjoyed my morning in the wonderful garden. There are also great restaurants within walking distance, we wanted Italian one night so with Herb's suggested we went to a place just down the road that was great. Herb is the perfect host, very helpful but not imposing"
