New Orleans French Quarter trip
"My wife and I visited New Orleans for the first time and we were looking for a centralized location. We didn't want to take a taxi and wanted it to be safe.
This place ticked all the boxes. It is right in the heart of everything and a short walk to food, store, drinks, night life, everything. You're on the 3rd floor and in a gated condo. The neighbors are friendly. The condo was tight, but was more than spacious enough for my wife and I. It was less expensive than a hotel and more exclusive accommodations. We bought food and coffee, but there is so much in the area to explore.
We need to go back and do it again soon. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting them again."

"Thank you for renting your French Quarter home to us for seven nights, March 24-31. In a very short time it felt like our home, too. We found it to be very well situated for us to walk to most of the events of the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival. We did take a taxi to the Ogden Museum for a viewing of Tennessee's paintings, dinner by John Besh, and concert by Allen Toussaint. And, we took a taxi to the Ashe Power House Theatre to see "Suddenly Last Summer" -- the other events were held at historically interesting architectural venues in the French Quarter, and we walked to all of them. We always felt safe, even walking home quite late one night from Frenchmen Street.
Since we are two retired women used to living in our separate large homes for so many years, it was great to have the privacy of the two bedrooms at either end of the house and for each of us to have our own bathroom. And, it was quieter than we expected, only street noise from the revelers one night, and it wasn't too bad at all. We appreciated the option of relaxing in the den and the private courtyard.
And, I'm so glad that you had a coffee grinder as I brought my own favorite coffee beans. In fact, it took some looking at times, but we found just about every practical thing we needed -- except for a step-stool. I'm only 5' tall, and I could not reach the top of the doors for the latches or any of the kitchen shelves except the lowest ones -- but after our return you notified me that you believe that there is one to the right of the fridge.
Thanks again for everything, Mary Anne, and since I love coming to NOLA I would like to think I could rent "our" home again . . . This was my first experience of using VRBO, and it was worry-free with all agreement terms dealt with in a timely manner."

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We felt very safe at this location given all the info we heard about New Orleans we found this place to be super quaint and perfectly located . It's only a block from great food and music. We parked the car and walked everywhere never needed to drive to get anywhere. One recommendation is to stop at a grocery store before getting to town traffic is crazy making it hard to want to drive anywhere. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and found him to be so helpful and pleasant. We would gladly stay here Again."

"We have stayed at this condo for the past 5 years and couldn't be more pleased!!! Anyone who states otherwise is just being malicious!!! It's NOLA at its best!! Music, food, friends and festivals!!! If you don't like noise don't stay so close to Bourbon!! The condo is comfortable and decorated with all the comforts of the city!! We stay every year and don't ever plan on staying anywhere else!! As far as Greg... Extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Always available for any questions or concerns!! We look forward to staying at "our" place every year!! Thanks, Greg, for sharing your place and allowing us to have unforgettable memories year after year!!!"
