"Rather than sharing a room at the Marriott or Sheraton on Canal, my bridge partner and I decided to have separate rooms and baths at this apartment. The accomodations were nice, clean and well appointed. The owners were wonderful to work with. I felt safe taking my run/walk before dawn in this neighborhood, then heading over to the coffee house located very near the apartment. It was less expensive to park the car and take cabs to and from the tournament than pay the going rate for parking at the hotels.
I would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to returning there myself."

Beautiful, comfortable historic house in perfect location
"I turned to VRBO for a place for me and 5 friends to stay while visiting New Orleans for the first time, what we got was more than a place to stay - we felt we got a touch of the history and spirit of the city with this house that's over 150 years old and survived Katrina. Everyone loved the house and we all want to go back, in part to stay in this house again and explore the neighborhood more. A few highlights:
The owner was very kind and flexible - allowing early arriving friends into the house ahead of scheduled check-in.
The house has a beautiful backyard garden, screened porch and upstairs balcony - to where our party naturally migrated for drinks and socializing.
The house is in the heart of the historic Garden District - for example, we walked to dinner on Magazine Street (where there is also a grocery, art studios and wine stores) and also walked to brunch at Commander's Palace. The house is a few blocks from a street car stop that takes you straight to the French Quarter and other attractions (WWII Museum, Super Dome, etc.) in a matter of minutes and for a few dollars.
The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and each had their own private bathroom.
The entire house was clean and welcoming.
We loved this house and would definitely look to stay here again!"

"My daughters & I very much enjoyed our 5-day stay at this wonderful condo! The location was ideal & pool & surrounding property is tranquil & private and secure. We had the best time and Linda was great to work with giving us lots of good suggestions on where to go and what to see. Best trip ever!"
