"This place by far exceeded my expectations. I met my friends for s guys weekend and could not have been happier with the accommodations. Cold refreshments waiting in the fridge for us. Short can ride to Harrahs casino. Great breakfast place, Elizabeth's, try the praline bacon. Owner recommended a bbq place for dinner after our day lounging at the pool. The Joint had great bbq. Another short can ride to Bourbon street. We are already planning our next trip and even some with our wives!"

"My wife and I visited New Orleans November 1st to 7th, this being our 3rd trip to the city.
Prior to our arrival, Shelly provided us with information about restaurants, shopping and things to do during our visit to New Orleans. This was a great help in our planning.
Our flight arrival was quite early and Shelley was able to accommodate an early check in. After getting settled we walked approximately 20 steps up the street to the famous Napoleon House for a muffuletta and a Pimm's cup.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this condo is in the perfect location. It is two blocks from Jackson Square, close to the waterfront, the French Market and Cafe Beignet. It is a short walk to Frenchman Street for amazing jazz performances. Many great restaurants are within walking distance. Brennan's was a particular favourite of ours. Grocery shopping is a short walk away at Rouses market.
The ground floor condo is accessible through a gated entrance and overlooks a courtyard. We took full advantage of this courtyard by enjoying coffee and pastries from PJ's each morning. The patio table in the ad is directly outside the entrance to Shelley's condo. We seemed to be the only people using it during our week. The condo has a full kitchen equipped with all you need to feel at home. The windows and french doors provide plenty of natural light throughout the unit.
The Queen sized bed was very comfortable, as was the sofa in the living room. There is a TV in the living room and also one in the bedroom. There is ample storage in both the bedroom and bathroom for your belongings. You do not have to live out of your suitcase in this unit! There is a great supply of towels and linens available.
This condo has been lovingly restored with quality and comfort in mind. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our review title says it all.
Owners were extremely helpful, always available and patient & kind when we created a problem for them.
Loved how the hot water from the shower lasted and lasted.
The modern kitchen was a delightful surprise as well as how comfortable the bed was.
This place had all the conveniences of a home one could want or need and in a lovely quiet neighborhood.
We would definitely stay here again - actually we would plan our trip dates around this rental being available."

"What a beautiful apartment in a convenient and lovely area! We absolutely loved this place! Everything about the apartment is welcoming and unique. The high ceilings and big rooms make this property seem much bigger than a one bedroom apartment. There are two other apartments in the house (a two bedroom and a three bedroom), but this one is front and center. We expected the smallest apartment to be tucked around back, but you enter this space through the front doors to the house. The electronic locks on the two doors entering the property made everything so easy. Love that! The kitchen has everything you could need--and there was even some coffee. When we arrived around 10:00pm on a Tuesday, there were a couple of things that were not as we expected them to be. We made a call to the innkeeper, and she took care of everything immediately. The owner called the next morning to make sure we were satisfied with everything, and the innkeeper came by--with a gift!--to see if we needed anything else. We were impressed with their responsiveness over something that wasn't even a big deal. We felt VERY well cared for.
We found SO many treasured experiences in New Orleans. Here's our list of things to not miss: St. Charles Streetcar (House is less than a block away.)--Drinks at Barrel Proof on Magazine Street (Hipster hang out :-) --Dinner at Kingfish in the French Quarter (Amazing food and service.)--Brunch at The Ruby Slipper in the CBD (Brandy Milk Punch--Yum!)--Amazing food, drinks, and music at The Three Muses on Frenchmen Street (Make a reservation.)--Meaningful Moments & Excellent Experiences at the WWII Museum (We spend an entire day here. Don't miss it.)--The Abita Brewery Tour across the lake (And the 20-mile bridge over water was fun too!)
We will be back with friends and stay here again in one of the bigger apartments. We can't say enough great things about the city, this property, and the people who manage it. Well done!"
