  • Nice place to stay!

"Everything was very nicely equipped, decorated and clean. We were a bit skeptical at first of the surrounding neighborhoods but the more we walked around we felt very safe .Lots of charm and character to the historic homes and easy access to restaurants and bars.Although we did have a bit of trouble navigating because we've never used streetcars or buses. Our android phone was on the blink at times so that didn't help. We did ride the streetcar on St Charles Ave but the track was being worked on so it was a bit of a walk to get there. We relied on taxi service most of the time. We recommend the stay here if you don't mind being further from the French quarter. All in all we didn't mind because we go to see more of the neighborhood. Dined at Pascal Manale and the waiter was very helpful as to what to do and not to do lol..Owners were out of town but their daughter was very nice and helpful as well. We loved New Orleans! Thank You so much! The Iotts Michigan"

  • Fantastic condo - felt like home!

"We love this Condo. The location is superb! It's close to everything, but yet quiet. I loved waking up and stepped out on the balcony with a cup of coffee, and listened to a local street musician here and there. The Condo has all the amenities that we needed, and it was clean. The rooms are very good size, with big closets. There are 1.5 bathrooms. You will be surprised to know that many local restaurants delivered food if you are not in the mood to go out, but we did this very few times. You can walk to many restaurants, or drive/taxi (short rides 5 to 15 mins max). The french market and the river are super close. There is also a few convenient store at walking distance. Our hostess was very kind, and we had great communication with her. The directions and instructions to enter the unit were really cleared. We felt like home at this place. Definitely recommend this place for your stay in New Orleans!!!"

  • Unforgettable Mardi Gras

"This huge beautiful house could not have been more perfect for our Mardi Gras celebration. Kim was great and the location perfect. Plenty of space for 18 of us we could have had more. The house was clean beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms."

  • Lush plants surrounding this hidden gem!

"This place was amazing! First, we had a slight miscommunication with the number of people. We had 8 in our party, which the description states it sleeps 8. There was certainly enough "room", but if you are planning on 8 beds, plan on bringing an air mattress. There was a roll away cot, which sleeps one, and the king is expected to sleep 3. However, the couch is so comfortable, the two in our party actually chose to sleep on the couch as opposed to air mattress/cot that was provided to us. The pictures of the interior are spot on, but the outside pictures of the pool/patio do not do justice. It was 100 times better!!! It was so relaxing to swim in the evening while listening to the sounds of nature, and Caption John, who is one of the best guys you could meet, shared his home and stories with us, and taught us about his birds. It's certainly not minutes from the French Quarter and we did not have a car, but we took the bus, which is just down the street and very easy and cabs home. Though it may seem like the area is "sketchy" or "ghetto", it's how all of New Orleans looks, not just this area. After all, they did survive probably the most horrific hurricane and have had to rebuild. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable during our stay. This was such a great place and we look forward to our return!"
