Quiet location with plenty of dining options
"Comfortable home with plenty of room. Abundant eating and drinking options on Oak and via streetcar, which is an easy walk from home. We'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet locale away from the French Quarter."

"2 couples stayed at this great location for a dental convention the same weekend as French Quarterfest. This is the first time we have tried a VRBO listing for New Orleans rather than a hotel. Easy drive to convention area and streetcar access a block away. There is a big Rouse's market as well as a Freshmarket closeby. There are many excellent restaurants closeby without going into the Quarter if you want to miss the typical tourist spots. We enjoyed Superior Seafood Restaurant just across St. Charles, as well as a beignet cafe on the corner without fighting the crowds at Cafe DuMonde. There are many new restaurants in the Uptown Midcity area. The streetcar service is great, running late in and out of the French Quarter. The bungalow was clean, gave us a home type feeling and the parking is certainly a bonus. We will stay here again!"

"The Napoleon was the perfect house to stay in for a large group. We were very close to Magazine St., plenty of great restaurants, bars, and shops. Only a few blocks from St. Charles (where the trolleys run constantly). We made several easy and cheap trips back and forth to Bourbon. This beautiful home made our trip great. Thanks Liz and Mary Jean!! Y'all are great."

"A very nice large home in a really beautiful area of New Orleans. Our family stayed in this home very comfortably (6 of us). There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. We missed having a porch to sit on to visit and drink coffee and people watch as the owner Chris was correct about neighbors calling police. Our neighbors in the 4 bedroom had this happen to them on check in for really no reason at all. Again, nice home to stay in and would only recommend one thing and that is a curtain in the upstairs bathroom."
