  • Great little place and very convenient!

"We spent a fun weekend here with our three kids. As stated in the listing, it's half a block from a huge Whole Foods Market, and Magazine street is famous for small shops and restaurants. It's close to the zoo, Audobon park and the Audobon public tennis courts (all "soft" courts!) We took the #11 bus straight to the WWII museum and to the French quarter. The house is clean and modern with a washer and dryer. Full kitchen. Loved it!!"

"Beautiful house in a great area of New Orleans. THE RED SWING IN THE PATIO ❤️ Everything is very clean and organized. Aubudon park is 0.7 miles away perfect for an afternoon walk ot jog (4 miles if you include the trail at Aubudon). 1 block away from Magazine St. - many local vendors, bars, restaurants. We stayed there for a whole week and if I ever go back to NOLA with a big group will stay here again.LOVED IT! We had a car that we used for the wedding events since we where a big group, but not needed if planning on staying in that area. Can take trolley to French Quarter, everything else that you may need is walking distance and very safe."

  • Wow!

"Our group came from 5 different states and all felt this home gave us the quintessential New Orleans experience. The shotgun house with porch and swing, pool, spacious area for visiting and dining outdoors and the impressive decor of this fully equipped home left us wanting for nothing. We appreciated also the quiet neighborhood with Audubon Park, trolly and Magazine Street shopping and dining close by."

  • Charming Suite in an Ideal Location!

"We just returned from a 6-night stay at The Dryades Suite and would not hesitate to rent this stylish and comfortable suite again. My husband, my son (20 years old), and I loved living in this residential, uptown, location during our New Orleans vacation. We felt like residents ourselves, which is why we prefer to choose a VRBO rental when we travel. The design of the suite is set up so that there can be two, separate, sleeping and living areas; wooden, antique, sliding doors are installed for this purpose. This feature was key to being able to relax during our "down time". All furnishings were obviously chosen with care, and fit our needs very well. We visited a nearby Walgreens to pick up bottled water, drinks, and a few breakfast items, but that's all we needed. We appreciated the easy, on-street parking in front of the house. We chose to rent a car because we wanted to be able to make some side trips, if we had the time. The streetcar is a quick walk from the suite, and it is also a great option for touring. The Dryades Suite was exactly as advertised. We have only positive things to report about our communications with the owners and managers of this property. As an added bonus to our trip, we were treated to a street-wide, New Year's Eve celebration, complete with champagne, fireworks, and a party at the owner's house next door! What FUN! We couldn't have asked for a better display of New Orleans hospitality."
