  • Great apartment in a great locatino

"I stayed here for four weeks while doing a rotation at the Ochsner Medical Center. It was the perfect size and location to suit my needs. The St. Charles Ave Streetcar stop is just a block away and can take you all the way to Canal Street in a manner of minutes. It's a very quiet neighborhood as well. Edan and Jeremy were attentive to any issues that arose and quickly responded with a solution. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting NOLA who seeks to avoid the craziness of staying along Canal St or in the French Quarter, but still wants easy access to everything NOLA has to offer."

  • Scott delivers what he advertises!

"My family ( myself, age 49, my 75 year old mother, her 66 yr old girlfriend, and my 52 yr.old husband who dropped in for a few days) had the pleasure of staying in Dr. Scott's home from 10/28-11/4 2014. The home was as advertised, was in impeccable condition, and what a great house. We all had room to spread out, and it was unbelievably convenient to EVERYTHING. We stayed here as I wanted to be in a home neighborhood vs The Quarters. (not that there's anything wrong with that)The restaurants uptown are not to be believed. So good. The house is wonderful, when I travel I always rent villas and will not stay in hotels. This house was the bomb. The jetted tub was alot of fun! and romantic by candlelight. The main bedroom does indeed cover the whole upstairs. Obviously, if you have traveled, you know that quirks arise anywhere, but that was very minimal in our experience. A light or two out does not negate the wonderful experience, and I am so happy that we booked this particular residence. I would stay here again in a hearbeat, if he'd have us. The pics and video are true to life, but don't do the home justice. Magazine street is RIGHT at your fingertips! NO itself is wonderful.....my best tip would be the street fair at Freret Market..once a month Sat. got all my souvenirs there. We ate at La Petite Grocery, Commanders Palace, Upperline (Joanne rocks), Atchafalaya, Revolution, , Mr. B's, Coquette, The Italian Barrel, Antoinnes, Irenes, Louisiana Bistro "FEED ME" I did not have a bad meal in NO, period. I highly rec all. Overall? GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Thank you, Scott!"

  • Dryades House Perfect for Jazz Fest 2015

"For a crew of 10 and only 1 car, this house was in the primo location for us to move around the city during Jazz Fest weekend. The proximity to Pascal's Manale and Charlie's Steakhouse were both nice bonuses, as well as the Il Posto coffee shop. All three places within one block. Would recommend the house for other types of groups and trips but for Jazz Fest, I couldn't imagine it being a whole lot better given it's central location to the Fairgrounds (~12 mins), Tipitina's (.8 mile walk), The Maple Leaf (~8 mins) and the French Quarter (~12 mins)."

  • Wedding wk end

"Four couples stayed for three nights to attend a family wedding in New Orleans. It provided private rooms for each couple. Only change we would have made was giving bedroom by kitchen to early risers instead of late sleepers. Not a problem with house just our planning. We used public transportation to get Around town. Went to French quarter, city park, Audubon park. Bought bus day pass for $3.00/day for unlimited use/day. Daily Bus pass can be used for streetcars And bus. We walked to grocery store for breakfast and lunch supplies. It worked out well for us. When using bus we did allowed extra time since traffic made a difference with buses being on time. Bus riders were helpful and very friendly. Loved the local culture. The owners were available for help via phone when we had two questions. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. We sat in back yard for wine late afternoon before heading out for evening. Each time we had a nice breeze. I would recommend this home."
