"We stayed in this wonderful studio apartment from Sep 27th through October 2nd 2015. First things first... before our stay, we needed to change the dates of our visit. The owners were very prompt and accommodating. They immediately switched our dates and offered any other help they could provide. What a great first impression!
Before our trip, I noticed that there was no assigned parking. I went on parking panda and reserved a spot that was only six blocks away. Once we got to New Orleans, we parked the car for the week. We walked almost everywhere and used Uber for longer distances. By the way, I highly recommend Uber. Every driver was courteous and we never had to wait longer than five minutes for a ride.
Now onto the accommodations. This place was perfect! We received a warm 'welcome' e-mail a few days before our arrival. It listed the key code, Internet access code and several phone numbers to reach the owners. In fact, I called the owners when we arrived in New Orleans to ask if we could go into the apartment a few hours before 'check-in' to drop off our luggage. They said it was no problem. Again they were very helpful and warm with their response. When I say 'check-in' I mean basically just opening the door. Since we had the key codes already there was no formal check-in, it was just a matter of getting there and and immediately starting our vacation.
Every thing was so comfortable. The loft bed was freshly made and had four pillows. There were two more pillows on the futon as well as extra blankets and linens in the closet. We had six towels, three hand towels, and three washcloths. There was also plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. If you start to run out of these things then there is a convenience store on the corner (The Quartermaster) half a block away. They've got toiletry items as well as snacks, drinks, and a deli. (A quick tip about the stores on Bourbon Street- several are 'cash only'. I imagine this is so they can avoid all the processing fees associated with debit/credit cards. Either way, there are ATM's every where).
There were plates, cups, coffee cups, silverware, a toaster, a microwave, and a fridge in the kitchen area. The room AC was remote controlled (and we could adjust it as we needed). There's also a room fan and a built in room heater (which we didn't need to use), and a flat screen TV.
All in all, it was a fantastic place and I recommend it to everyone! You're right in the heart of this lovely city!"
