"Four couples stayed for three nights to attend a family wedding in New Orleans. It provided private rooms for each couple. Only change we would have made was giving bedroom by kitchen to early risers instead of late sleepers. Not a problem with house just our planning. We used public transportation to get Around town. Went to French quarter, city park, Audubon park. Bought bus day pass for $3.00/day for unlimited use/day. Daily Bus pass can be used for streetcars And bus. We walked to grocery store for breakfast and lunch supplies. It worked out well for us. When using bus we did allowed extra time since traffic made a difference with buses being on time. Bus riders were helpful and very friendly. Loved the local culture. The owners were available for help via phone when we had two questions. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. We sat in back yard for wine late afternoon before heading out for evening. Each time we had a nice breeze. I would recommend this home."

"Dryades House and Suite were perfectly suited to our needs and worked out very well. Like any older homes, (especially in New Orleans where nothing is level) upkeep is imperative and you have done a good job. The house is clean, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean. And it was quieter than I thought given Charlie's restaurant being across the street. Your location is fabulous . . . parking wasn't horrible as I feared since there is no driveway. Only once did we have to park around the corner, otherwise we parked right in front of the house or nearly so. I recommend anyone to rent the house or suite . . . together they worked well for our party of 6. Since our daughter is working in NOLA for another year, we may be in touch!! Thanks."

"The owner was very easy to get ahold of and gave good directions before our stay. The house is simple and attention is given to comfort and cleanliness. The neighbors are nice and it is only a short walk to the French Quarter. We had three couples staying there with plenty of room."

"The girls and I opted to find a condo to rent instead of a hotel during the Essence Festival and I can say we weren't disappointed. The condo is just a few steps from Bourbon but not the end of Bourbon that gets a lot of traffic which was perfect for us. I loved the fact we were essentially in the heart of the French Quarters which allowed us to easily get to some of my favorite restaurants and had the cutest boutiques which allowed for plenty of shopping. The condo itself was awesome. Very cute and could easily accommodate 6-8 people (especially since it had 3 full bathrooms). There were only 3 people in our party so we each had our own living quarters. One thing to note is that I tend to not be able to sleep with there is a lot of outside noise but the only thing I heard was a little music from one of the bars and it didn't bother me at all. The music wasn't blaring which was a good thing. I would absolutely stay here again.
As for parking there is a hotel right down the street that charges $35 per 24 hours for parking. This worked out well for us as well since there are some hefty parking restrictions in the area."
