"This was my first time in New Orleans. I stayed 6 days in this roomy one bedroom, eat in kitchen, living room and full bath cottage. I was provided enough breakfast items for my full stay, eggs, cinnamon buns, yogurt, fruit, English muffins, jam, coffee, tea, cookies, etc. The house is nicely decorated with photos of the greatest jazz artists, the bed is comfortable, the area is secure, the air conditioning and ceiling fans were a welcome delight from the 90 degree weather and Bob is attentive if you have any questions. It is centrally located with off street parking. Checkout Free Tours on Foot for a great experience and tours of the French Quarter, Garden District and Culinary Delights. I was kept so busy I did not have time to enjoy the lovely garden in the backyard. I highly recommend the Jazz Cottage!"Guest: Susan Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 28, 2014View listing
"My husband and I wanted to have a special holiday with our two sons(20 and22) so we planned a quick trip to New Orleans. Having been there a number of times, I checked our usual places to stay and they were full so I looked and found this house. What luck!!! We had such a great stay. The house was perfect and perfectly equipped but the backyard is amazing. One night one of the boys even slept out on the hammock another night they cooked dinner and we ate outside. The location is incredibly convenient to the trolley, only a block away. I also love that there are so many places to eat so close by. We will definitely try to book again."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 6, 2015View listing
"A beautiful old shotgun in a great neighbourhood. Short walk to Frenchman street and the French Quarter, quiet and very private. The bed was sooooo comfortable. Only cautions would be that if you are cooking the kitchen is not very well stocked - no toaster, limited cookware, also the hot tub takes hours to warm up and still isn't very warm, my husband used it but it was too cool for me - granted it was November. Don't let any of this deter you it is a great place, the bakery steps away is excellent. I would definitely stay here again."Guest: Kelly S. "This house is BEAUTIFUL. Not just a rental, but a home. Clean, comfortable. We had a group of 8 women attending a conference in downtown New Orleans. We rented cars and it was super easy to navigate into downtown from here. Nice to come back to such a peaceful area after excursions into the French Quarter. We considered it a life changing experience!"Guest: Pamela G. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 20, 2014View listing
