Great location, really nice home!
"Great location, access to all the major attractions. Lovely, clean home, lot's of yard space and represented accurately in photos. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms plus plenty of linens, cozy living room, a lot of room for large dinner etc. There were 10 of us, all slept comfortably but please note that you must walk through a bunk bedroom to access the large bedroom. We had to change our sleeping arrangements to accommodate but it all worked out. The master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor was perfect for one of our couples who has difficulty with stairs. Had a great time!"

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin the week of August 29th-September 5th 2015. Every bit of our stay was truly wonderful, we could not have asked for more. This cabin is even more beautiful in person, just steps from the water. The rocky beach was perfect for our young children to explore the tide pools and find sea life everyday. We enjoyed watching the lobster boats every morning while having coffee on either of the two decks, the moonlight on the water in the evenings, campfires, and watching the lighthouse flicker in the distance....just perfection. There is no better location than this. Bob was so kind, welcoming and accommodating. It was so helpful when he sent a map of the area before our arrival, taking the time to suggest certain points of interest to visit. This was our first time visiting the area and we would have never known where to start there is so much to see and do! There is also a journal for visitors to write in. Our first night we had a great time reading what past guests wrote. This gave us direction with what to see and do too! Bar Harbor and the main part of Acadia is about a 45 minute drive. We spent two days exploring that area. It was beautiful, but we truly enjoyed the quiet and seclusion of the Schoodic side of Acadia and beautiful Corea, Winter Harbor and Birch Harbor. It was like finding a hidden gem, with all the beauty you can imagine, but without the crowds. Everything is taken care of here for you as a guest. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to unwind. You will not be disappointed. Our expectations were far exceeded, and we simply cannot wait to come back!"

"cant say enough what a great time we had here. The four bedroom four bath home gave our group of 7 plenty of space. The common areas were open and inviting with great views of the lake and forest. The beautiful decks and gas grill were a plus. We used the canoe for great views of the pond. A lot of fun. The close proximity to park trails made it easy to hike and come home for lunch. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back!"

"Beautifully finished, well-equipped, sunny and comfortable guest house overlooking landscaped garden and Stonington Harbor. Easy walk into Stonington, a charming working port with shops, restaurants and attractions. The owners, Doug and Leslie, who live in the main house on the property, were friendly and accommodating while respecting tenants' privacy. Perfect jumping off point for exploring Deer Isle and nearby islands and communities (Isle au Haut ferry is an easy walk from house).
Bedroom and bathroom are commodious but up a fairly narrow flight of stairs, which those with mobility issues or infants may want to keep in mind.
All in all, an idyllic spot at a reasonable price."
