Lovely Vintage Farm House
"To us "out of towners" from Pennsylvania this house seemed like the quintessential Maine farm house. Wonderfully updated with all the conveniences and comforts of a cozy home yet still retaining the charm of an earlier time,...beautifully restored wooden floor boards, and maintaining the original architecture were just some of the features that made this farm house so special,.. we loved our stay! Thank you for making us feel so welcome, comfortable and at home. Highly recommended!"

"The view is magnificent from this tiny cottage...as is the heated pool. The furnishings leave a lot to be desired. It is clean and uncomfortable. If you are readers and like a comfortable couch, chair, or good light at the bedside, do not rent this property. A hard futon serves as the couch, bedside lighting is inadequate. The kitchen is weak with a very tiny fridge with VERY cheap and old PLASTIC dishes and flatware. Barely two feet of counter space.. Nice bath but TINY old sink... No AC. FANTASTIC PORCH AND VIEW.
Owner is very nice and helpful, property is located well away from the mess of cheesy downtown.. Very close to Acadia, which is wonderful...
So, if you don't cook much, and don't sit and read, this would be ideal.."

"This lovely house afforded our family a great opportunity to all be together for meals and socializing. There were 17 of us…adults and grown children. During the day family members went off hiking or touring but we would get together for dinners in the huge dinning room. The house is in a very convenient location… minutes from the Park entrance at Seal Harbor and no more than 10 minutes to Jordan Pond House. The back terrace is large and has a million dollar view."

"If you are looking for a beautiful quiet spot near the Schoodic Peninsula, this is the spot! We stay at a lot of VRBO cottages and this one has been one of the most peaceful and scenic!! Fun to see the changes in the tide with the water coming right up to the cottage. It is much nicer then the pics even portray. And situated in a great location. If you are trying to get away from the busyness of Acadia--but be near enough to enjoy the area, this is your spot!! Best thing is you don't even really have to leave the cottage to enjoy yourself. Head in with your groceries and stay!"
