"My friends and I spent a week at Woodberry Cottage, and had a wonderful, relaxing time in a beautiful setting with all the amenities of home. The cottage was clean & well maintained, and the owners provided brochures & maps for area activities.
During our stay we visited Acadia National Park, Nervous Nellie's Jams & Jellies, local galleries & shops. We spent a lovely day on Eagle Island, a night stargazing at Pine Hill, and dined at several area restaurants to include Barncastle in Blue Hill & McKay's in Bar Harbor. Of course, the cottage was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a home cooked meal, and then watch a favorite movie or play a friendly game of cards or Mahjong afterwards. The screened in porch was a great place to chat & still enjoy the outdoors; and going down to the shore and watching the sun set was spectacular.
I would highly recommend Woodberry Cottage to anyone looking for an enjoyable, worry free vacation."

"Loved our stay in this quaint but lovely home on Stonington Harbor this past July. The views were amazing - tranquil setting overlooking lobster boats and islands on the Gulf of Maine. You can spend the day on the deck just watching the harbor activities and the tidal swings. The house is fully appointed and comfortable - everything you need is provided and then some. We enjoyed walks to the little town of Stonington where there are great places to eat any meal of the day, shop or enjoy events at the Opera House. Short day trips to Barred Island, Sand Beach and Nervous Nellie's Jams and Jellies are highlights to name a few that are close by. A trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were great as well as the boat ride to Isle of Haut which is right down the street. Best of all is the use of the kayaks and going to the nearby islands for a swim in a quarry, relax on a beautiful sandy beach or just enjoy the clear waters. Couldn't be more perfect and look forward to returning! Thanks to owner Barbara Wescott for making this a most enjoyable time!"

"My wife and I stayed here with our family and friends (us + 2 other couples) for the last two summers. We spent our days hiking or canoeing and returned most nights to eat dinner together in the dining room with a large picture window overlooking the water. It's a gorgeous property and they just added a new bedroom and bathroom, so it had plenty of space for our group. We look forward to returning to this house on Deer Isle for many summers to come."
