"The house is even lovelier than the pictures. It's clean, beautifully decorated with lots of windows for the beautiful views in every direction. The garden is also tastefully designed and well tended. Grocery and specialty shops are within 5 minutes. We stayed an extra day and still never ran out of things to do. Bar Harbor and main Acadia is just 30 minutes away and a pleasant drive. There are Acadia attractions right in Southwest Harbor about 10 minutes away. The Island Explorer bus service has a stop a block away. Great restaurants (Beals) are within walking distance. It was interesting to watch the fishing boats come in and out of the harbor. The sunsets are viewable from the patio or the dock. Would rate this rental 6 stars if possible."Guest: Cathy Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 21, 2014View listing
"Hello, This home is gorgeous! From the moment you step inside, you feel welcome. It's spotless clean. The views are breathtaking and you can't help but find time just slips away as you enjoy the ocean views. The hum of the lobster boats in the cove is so relaxing. We had a good time exploring the area. The lobster coop at Corea is a great way to plan dinner. A visit to the Bartlett Winery was fun. We went to Millbridge to take a boat tour with Robertson Sea Tours. Visiting the "Bold Coast of Maine" was so much more special staying at this home. Thank you for sharing your lovely home."Guest: Sharon Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 7, 2014View listing
"My teenage daughter and I found this to be a perfect place to spend time together. This lovingly converted barn captured my daughter's imagination the moment she spotted it on line. The property was just as shown, very clean and lacking for nothing we could need in bath or kitchen. The loft bedroom and open floor plan worked beautifully for us allowing her to sleep late and me to enjoy browsing the "library". Felt very peaceful to be on Schoodic Peninsula where we enjoyed nature hikes and the gorgeous scenery. Easy drive to Bar Harbor for whale watching which was fantastic. This was a perfect place to stay rain or shine."Guest: Susan Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 13, 2014View listing
"My wife and I had a fabulous vacation at Two Loons! The weather was perfect, the cabin was everything as promised, the dock, the pond, the wildlife, all outstanding! Very relaxing, at times it felt like we had a private pond (more like a lake) to ourselves. We enjoyed Acadia and Bar Harbor, but the best thing was absolutely the cabin and the lobsters of course! I would highly recommend staying at Two Loons. The owner,Tim was great as well Thank you for a great stay!"Guest: Kevin B. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 31, 2014View listing
