"We (10 of us-5 adults/5 teenagers) just spent a week at this property and absolutely loved it. It was a perfect place for the whole family. We loved the pool, the tennis court and the waterfront views.
The house was very clean, spacious and offered everything that we needed. The owners are friendly and answered any and all of the questions that we had.
I would highly recommend this property to everyone."

"My family and I stayed at this house in beautiful Prospect Harbor this past 2014 season. We had a great time, as we love our Maine vacations. This house was just the right size for our family of 4. It is nice and open in the main living area with a beautiful view of the lighthouse at Prospect Harbor. This is one of our favorite locations in Maine. We felt right at home and so comfortable! We saw an eagle, osprey (up close!), deer, and even a porcupine which climbed a tree and took a nice long nap. At dark, be sure to stargaze out on the deck for a fantastic view of the stars.
The owner of the house was great to deal with. Any time we had contact before and after our stay, our emails or phone calls were answered promptly. The house was clean and ready for our visit.
We would recommend this property for a small family, or up to 6 people would be a comfortable fit. The rocky shoreline at the property was fun to explore! There are plenty of other sights to see and places to visit that are close by. One of the favorites is Schoodic Point where the ocean meets the huge Maine rocky coastline. There are lots of trails to hike there, as well as at Acadia National Park. And leave lots of time for relaxing!

"This was our second stay at Dragonfly Cove. The owners are kind, warm and helpful. The house is beautiful and well maintained, bedding and furniture is very comfortable. The house is perfectly isolated, yet close to small towns like Blue Hill and Castine, both are wonderful to visit. There is a small store just down the road run by friendly locals. We rented kayaks from The Activity Shop in Blue Hill. They deliver and pick up and also are very friendly (book in advance). The pond is great for swimming and kayaking. If you want a chance to reconnect with family, friends, and nature, this is a great spot. We have two teenagers and both times we have visited, they have told us that this is their favorite vacation! Acadia is about an hour away and a must see, but there are also plenty of closer hikes. It is such a peaceful place and I am thankful they are able to share it."

Amazing Tranquility! Everything you could possibly want from a relaxing and scenic break...
"This is a unique and special getaway location, set back in an untouched part of the world. The property is custom designed by the owner and is meticulously laid out. It boasts panoramic views of the Bagaduce River. This along with the amazing tree lines and forestry give you a complete sense of peace and tranquility. The property is setback on a dirt road through beautiful forestry where you will see natural wildlife. It is completely private, you will not see or hear anyone until you visit the local town! The property has everything you will need and the real fireplace is a very nice effect! The local village, Bluehill, again has everything you will need including great places to eat and an information center (chamber of commerce) to point you in the right direction for what ever excursions you have planned.
There is also a blue hill co-op, an amazing wine tasting venue that also sells great cheeses and sausage meats. There is also a local brewery called Strong Brewery which is a very small boutique brewery. Get there early on days they are open as they run out quick!
Cadillac mountain is a must visit and has endless trails for hiking all with breathtaking views. Sunsets and sunrises can be appreciated from the top of the mountain. Bar Harbor is a quaint town by the water which is just a lovely place to visit. There is a great store in town which is good for equipment for hiking and outdoor activities. Paddy’s irish pub serves a great breakfast after sunrise, to keep you going for the days activities. Trenton bridge lobster restaurant is located on the road from bluebell to bar harbor and has the best lobster in town. Atlantic brewery is located about 10 miles outside from Bar Harbor and has great tasting beer. The owners are just lovely people and are extremely accommodating and have a great team of staff on hand locally. Bluehill farmers market runs from May through October, however these are mostly local vendors and you can visit these most year round in their stores. There are also local hikes you can do which are challenging and exciting! Harbor vine restaurant has an amazing menu and also brews their own beer. The cottage is also equipped with a lot suggestions of things to do in the area. All in all, this is a place you will fall in love with. The area just has a feeling I cannot describe, you just have to go there to experience it. You will leave behind all the stresses and strains of every day life, be at peace, and enjoy every minute of it!"
