"Our second trip here in 3 years. I so wish we could come every year. This cottage is THE best. It was like coming home again. My family which includes daughters aged 20 and 9 love it here. There was so much anticipation before we got here. It is magical driving down the driveway and seeing the bay in front of you. The view is breath taking. We weren't even completely unpacked for the week when they were down on the beach clamming. Close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor that we never minded the drive in (maybe 30 minutes). My husband and oldest went deep sea fishing for a half a day. Poked around Bar Harbor several times. Bar Island, shops, restaurants and in Acadia to Sand Beach and up early one morning to see the sunrise on top of Cadillac. Other than when we went to Acadia we generally planned to spend half of the day exploring and the other at the cottage enjoying the property itself and just regrouping as a family playing board games, trying new recipes (cottage is stocked well with spices and pans and such) and relaxing. Laying in bed one morning and listening to a pair of loons calling to each other over the quiet bay was thrilling as well as seeing a deer with her 4 babies in the morning mist visiting us. Exploring Lamoine State Park just a few minutes away is always a request with fishing, beach exploring and a picnic lunch.
The property owners have made us feel more than welcome and we truly cannot wait to get back. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. You could easily spend two weeks here and fill it up with things to do or just be happy at the cottage and do nothing. We cannot wait to get back again."

"This home is absolutely beautiful, with all the comforts and extra details that make you feel at home. The privacy and quiet area gives you a wonderful sense of peace and soothes the soul. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the coastline, waters, woods and surrounding areas. But mostly a special thank you to the wonderful, caring owners who allowed us to share their lovely home. Looking forward to returning next year :)"

"This beautiful cottage was exactly what we were hoping for on our first trip to Maine. Nestled on a quiet cove, with no one around you can expect complete privacy. We enjoyed peaceful evenings on the porch watching the stunning sunsets over the water. While the porch was our favorite spot, the inside of the cottage is cozy and well-furnished with everything you may need during your stay. We chose to prepare and eat most of our meals in since there was easy access to great local seafood and fresh produce.
We loved this location because it gave us quick access to the entire Acadia region. We spent our days exploring and falling in love with Maine and used the cottage as our late afternoon/evening spot to recharge. There is so much to see and do in this area that a week just isn't enough!
We have all ready recommended this property to several of our friends and will plan to stay here again when we return to the area. The owner is great help and a gracious hostess. She gave us many tips on where to go and what to see so we could enjoy our trip to the fullest. If you are considering a trip to the Acadia region, do yourself a favor and book this wonderful cottage!"

"What a wonderful stay on this little bay! This cottage was immaculate, yet warm and homey. Not a detail left undone....from the canoe/kayaks on the property to the umbrella at the front door. Even homemade blueberry muffins and smores fixins left in the fridge! Secluded, with easy access to the bay. We enjoyed canoeing out to visit the seals and building fires in the fire pit built from granite on the property. Great history on this home....just ask Tina! Acadia National Park was close enough but far enough to avoid the heavy tourist presence. Schoodic Mountain is closeby for a hike and vista view. We also loved Tidal Falls which was just around the corner."
