"Great stay, the house is charming, it's small but has everything you need! Great location for sightseeing, it's not so far off the main highways to add too much travel time, Castine is lovely, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We loved it, would definitely return! Dan is a gracious host and a font of knowledge on the area."

"A New England lake with loons is what we wanted and Loon Cottage was located just off the main road to Acadia at the north end of Toddy Pond. The cottage comfortably provided our needs during four nights and Toddy Pond was a perfect setting for sunsets and morning kayaking. The fall color was post card brilliant and though it was late in the season we both saw and heard loons. When we chose to leave the lake, the location provided convenient access to Acadia and surrounding attractions. Highlights were the sunrise from atop Cadillac Mountain, a boat from Northeast Harbor to Little Cranberry Island, lunch at Jordon Pond House, climbing the rocks around Thunder Hole, and selfies in front of Stephen King's house in nearby Bangor on the one gray day. We were well fortified with the freshest seafood every day washed down with plenty of local craft beer, for variety, the Cellar in Ellsworth was an unexpected foodie delight and Pat's Pizza was worth all it's hype. Our hosts were wonderfully responsive and I only wish we could have met them in person. I recommend Loon Cottage for anyone wishing to experience dramatic beauty of coastal Maine and the tranquility of quaint Down East. Cheers!"

"Willowbrook was a perfect house for our week long vacation for our family of seven adults and seven children. There was plenty of space to spread out. We loved our family dinners in the dining room. It is rare to find a dining room where we could all dine together. The location was perfect for sightseeing. Our grandchildren loved playing ball on the huge yard. They also enjoyed fishing on the pond across the street. Every afternoon we swam at Somes pond which was just up the street. It is great being across from the bus stop.
The thirty page information book was a great help in planning our stay. It is rare to find a home where the kitchen had everything that you needed. The home is very well equipped. There are a huge number of china and wine glasses. We needed a new can opener and Diana delivered it the next day. She also arranged to have the wireless repaired. She takes great care to keep the home in perfect condition. The home is extremely well managed. Diana recommended Red Sky in Southwest Harbor and Thurston's Lobster Pound which were both great. You can also cook lobsters at the home and everything is there including a Martha Stewart recipe on cooking lobsters."

"Thank you for reminding me that I didn't write a review for your lovely house. Everything was perfect from the location to the great kitchen and the comfortable bedrooms and the easy access to everything we wanted to do in the area. I would stay here again, anytime."
