"My husband and I stayed with our daughter (8-year-old) for a week. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything one could need. It has a lot of charm and a lovely garden in the front. The shops and restaurants are a quick walk away, yet the location is private and quiet. We enjoyed walking the Shore Path every day and the southern entrance is very close. We brought our old golden retriever and it was wonderful to have a park just a block away for him. Acadia National Park is very close and easy to get to. The complimentary blueberry pie is a wonderful treat! We couldn't ask for anything more!"

"Rocko's Cottage was a perfect VRBO for our two week stay in Bar Harbor. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants downtown and only a few minutes from Acadia. The cottage is clean, quiet and stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. Off street parking was a plus. Thank you for providing such a wonderful home for our annual Bar Harbor visit."

"The house location was close to Acadia Ntl. Park and downtown Bar Harbor. It is on a quiet street. It is a little small and outdated with electrical, bath and kitchen, but it worked out great for our family of five (three boys). The laundry was really nice to have. The owners were great to work with and they were very helpful with ideas for how to get around on our bikes bypassing busy roads. The internet worked very well. They had lots of basics for us in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. There is a little front yard our boys played in and there is a large grassy area at a school yard very close by. We walked to Bar Harbor several times without it being too far for us and our children (ages 8, 11 and 14)."

"We loved the Northridge townhouse. We were very impressed with the cleanness, comfort of the beds and the helpfulness of the owners. The Barkers provided great insight into hiking, biking, restaurants and more. The extras at the house were so nice (for example a basket of books about Acaida, laundry room with detergent and more) We truly felt at home during our vacation. It is also nice the townhouse is so close to Acaida entrance and downtown Bar Harbor."
