A truly wonderful home away from home!
"This cozy cabin is convenient to both Acadia National Park and Southwest Harbor. The cabin oozes with charm and features a beautiful wooded location on a secluded cove. The owners are non-intrusive but very friendly and helpful. We were 100% satisfied. A great find!"

"My husband and I had a fantastic time at Acadia Meadow. It was gorgeous and a perfect location - very spacious, a fully-stocked kitchen, ample room for relaxing, and a comfortable bedroom. Suze and Tod provide great documentation about the place as well as the park, which gave us a solid starting point for planning our adventures. The windows might be the best part of the apartment - the entire place looks onto the backyard, which is green and secluded. You really feel like you're in the park (which you are), but you're only a five-minute drive from Bar Harbor (in which we NEVER had problem finding convenient parking, by the way). We explored Acadia with hikes and bike rides right out the front door. Suze and Tod were fabulous hosts - Tod gave us some produce from his vegetable garden, which lent a more sophisticated and fresh feel to our rudimentary cooking! We're hoping to return to Acadia Meadow next summer."

"We found this house to be very comfortable. It is extremely close to the main street in Northeast Harbor, where there is a grocery, bakery, cafe, and plenty of shops to explore. The bus to Acadia and Bar Harbor runs right past the house. The house itself is bright and airy with high ceilings. It has a lovely deck and we ate outside several times. The beds were extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The layout is a little interesting, with one bedroom upstairs and the others downstairs, which allowed for a private hideaway. The kitchen, though smallish in terms of work surfaces, was well equipped with decent knives and ample glassware, dishes and pots/pans. The bathrooms are a bit old-fashioned (the kids got a kick out of the separate hot/cold water faucets)."

"Had a wonderful stay here on relentlessly picturesque Sargent Dr. This home was the perfect quiet place to come back to after a long day of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding towns and lakes. Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and of course, the village of Northeast Harbor are short drives away. We were 4 adults and two boys, 8 and 10 and were perfectly comfortable. Made a few meals - even blueberry and cherry pies from scratch - and the kitchen had everything we needed. But really, the view from the deck … spectacular! We hope to return to Acadia and Maine soon, and would definitely rent this home again."
