"My husband and rented Edgehill for our wedding week. My family absolutely loved it! They can't stop talking about their stay!
20 people stayed at the house. The kitchen was very accommodating for big family meals.
My husband and I got married in the back yard and held the reception in the barn. 55 people attended the wedding and we were able to fit 8 tables in the barn.
I would highly recommend this house for any family gathering!"

"To us "out of towners" from Pennsylvania this house seemed like the quintessential Maine farm house. Wonderfully updated with all the conveniences and comforts of a cozy home yet still retaining the charm of an earlier time,...beautifully restored wooden floor boards, and maintaining the original architecture were just some of the features that made this farm house so special,.. we loved our stay! Thank you for making us feel so welcome, comfortable and at home. Highly recommended!"

"My wife and I decided to go out on a limb and rent this cabin for our family vacation (us and three small kids), and we sure are happy we did. Dodge Point is one of the most bucolic and peaceful places I've ever had the pleasure of spending time in. The cabin itself was completely stocked, clean, and worked well for the kids, too. They loved the loft! Sunset views were breathtaking, and we all loved playing around in the cove during low tide. It was nice staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island - relaxed and not touristy at all, but only a half hour drive from Bar Harbor and the Acadia park loop. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone, and I hope my family has the opportunity to return soon. Much thanks to the owners and caretakers."

"My family and I stayed at this house in beautiful Prospect Harbor this past 2014 season. We had a great time, as we love our Maine vacations. This house was just the right size for our family of 4. It is nice and open in the main living area with a beautiful view of the lighthouse at Prospect Harbor. This is one of our favorite locations in Maine. We felt right at home and so comfortable! We saw an eagle, osprey (up close!), deer, and even a porcupine which climbed a tree and took a nice long nap. At dark, be sure to stargaze out on the deck for a fantastic view of the stars.
The owner of the house was great to deal with. Any time we had contact before and after our stay, our emails or phone calls were answered promptly. The house was clean and ready for our visit.
We would recommend this property for a small family, or up to 6 people would be a comfortable fit. The rocky shoreline at the property was fun to explore! There are plenty of other sights to see and places to visit that are close by. One of the favorites is Schoodic Point where the ocean meets the huge Maine rocky coastline. There are lots of trails to hike there, as well as at Acadia National Park. And leave lots of time for relaxing!
