"This cabin really feels like a home-- with the kitchen ready for cooking. The setting is superb-- a quiet bay. Maybe out favorite place to stay. Close to everything, yet set away from the world. we had a great time.
Be sure to ask for the directions again if she doesn't send them."

"If the wonders of Mt. Desert Island and Acadia National Park are your idea of a great vacation then this house is the perfect base. We (my wife, me, an our two daughters in their 20's) just returned from a week there. First, Northeast Harbor is quiet, lovely, and has a magnificent harbor and marina; it's well-situated for all that MDI has to offer. Secondly, the house really could not be better, especially for a family of four: it is both stylish and quite comfortable. The owners really put a lot of care into its design and upkeep -- both the interior and the grounds. I think this may be about the best house we have ever rented and it certainly reflects the owners' obvious love for it."

"Torri couldn't have been more helpful as we reserved the lower level of the Yellow House a few days before we arrived. She was a pleasure to work with, was fast and efficient and it was a great way to start our trip to one of our most favorite places on the Maine Coast. The rental was clean, beautifully decorated - we had everything you could imagine but the place wasn't cluttered. The bed was great - with plenty of extra blankets etc - the shower was super and the towels fluffly and soft - there was even an LL Bean bag filled with beach towels. The view from the living room and the front porch is fabulous - the constantly changing harbor was entertaining and peaceful. We were delighted to have Direct TV and wireless internet. We walked to the Harbor Cafe for breakfast and 44 North for coffee - both great spots - in fact we had a incredibly sweet and delish lobster roll at the Harbor Cafe! We took the Mail boat out to Isle au Haut and it's always fun to see the area from the water - fun trip. This is a great location, clean, plenty of space for my husband and myself and very good communication from Torri about the rental - I would definitely recommend it."

"Acadia has always been one of my favorite places, so it was a treat to bring my family for their first visit. Northeast Harbor has just the right balance of quietness, quaintness, friendliness, and ease of living after spending days exploring and hiking. The park and the other side of the island were both easily accessible. Town is just a couple of blocks away with everything you need, including a couple of places with great food and baked goods. The larger grocery store in Bar Harbor is only 15 minutes away. This brightly colored, comfortable and well-equipped cottage was the perfect place to call home. We loved the timber framing, the large kitchen, the spacious rooms, and especially the covered porch & outdoor eating area where we could linger over breakfast and morning coffee. The owners, who were onsite, were extremely hospitable and helpful with anything we needed, including recommendations for places a little off the beaten path. Many thanks to the owners for making our visit to Acadia such a special one with their hospitality and friendship. We hope to be back for a longer visit next time!"
