"We stayed four days in this lovely home. We really liked being on the Schoodic side of Acadia Park and rode rental bikes all the way around the peninsula. One issue occurred with the house whiel we were there - bathroom plumbing backed up - and the manager responded immediately, fixing the problem and leaving us a full set of clean towels to make sure we were not inconvenienced. They were very professional and available. I would stay here again."

"This cabin really feels like a home-- with the kitchen ready for cooking. The setting is superb-- a quiet bay. Maybe out favorite place to stay. Close to everything, yet set away from the world. we had a great time.
Be sure to ask for the directions again if she doesn't send them."

"The chalet turned out to be a perfect place for my husband and me and our two dogs.
Bar Harbor is jam-packed with tourists in August and we enjoyed taking a 10-min. drive to town when we wanted and then having a quiet retreat to come home to. Acadia was just as convenient. We spent much time relaxing on the deck, watching the dogs run around the large yard, and taking walks along the quiet, pebbly beach (that was pretty much our own) and over to Hadley Point.
Inside, there was everything we needed and when we couldn’t figure out how to tap into the wireless, Joe called us right back.
The cottage is nicer inside than the pictures show. The wood is classy and rustic and the cabinets look new. The loft is adorable and spacious although we had no need to use it. The house would be fine for a family of four as long as - with the open layout - you wanted to know everything your kids were doing at all times.
Our only pet peeve had nothing to do with this house. We remain mystified why the residents next door keep a large blue commercial van at the bottom of their driveway, blocking their water view and leaving us to ponder every day if it’s possible to get tired of such a lovely spot."

"We stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely:)
Pros: the cottage has very pretty views and a good welcoming feel. Kayaking on the pond was our favorite part- very peaceful. It was clean and well supplied- minus a few items that I'll mention below.
Cons: The neighbors are very close and quite loud, but the property still felt private considering. There was no curtain on the bathroom window- so anyone outside can see in! And the bathroom has a window opening in the living room so if multiple families are staying together there is little privacy while in the bathroom. And there were only a few bath clothes -
The kitchen was well supplied except not enough ice trays and no large pots for boiling lobster:( and no lobster cracker - but we made do. The owner was very nice - we would definitely return;)"
