"cant say enough what a great time we had here. The four bedroom four bath home gave our group of 7 plenty of space. The common areas were open and inviting with great views of the lake and forest. The beautiful decks and gas grill were a plus. We used the canoe for great views of the pond. A lot of fun. The close proximity to park trails made it easy to hike and come home for lunch. Definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back!"

"My husband and I have stayed in this lovely Maine home several times over the past few years and count it among our favorite vacation destinations. The home is located in the middle of a thriving Down East town with shops, restaurants, galleries and waterfront all visible from the front windows! The owners were very knowledgeable about the local scene and provided many useful recommendations. The home is multilevel with much old New England charm. There is even a small "theater" on the second floor which actually hosted performances by many previous occupants. Highly recommended for anyone who has a love for colonial history and, of course, the waterfront."

"The Driftwood was the perfect spot for exploring the Brooksville/Blue Hill/Deer Isle area. The cottage was as described with everything we needed, including the wonderfull soapstone stove that we used every day, as the nights were cool this time of the year. Even with the chilly weather, the Bagaduce River was a great spot for kayaking. I paddled over to Castine twice and went upriver a few times. The cottage is located in a very quiet location and even with the windows shut, we could hear the wonderful call of the loons on the water. The perfect spot for 2-3 people. We hope to return someday."

"My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week at Bass Terre, the property is immaculate the house was exactly as it is represented in the photos. The kids enjoyed the spacious grounds, they had breakfast in the bunkhouse and had a great time exploring the shoreline. The location is great, a short ride to all the attractions of MDI but quiet and secluded when you arrive home. The house is just great, cozy with wonderful views from every window, we would love to return in the future. A wonderful peaceful week. Charles and Dede we helpful answering all questions and we would like to thank you for letting us use your terrific home !"
