  • Quiet Retreat for the Whole Family

"Both the description and photos were spot on and the home was immaculate. The owner was very friendly and prompt with answers to any questions we had. Helpful information and brochures were also available. The lake was a short walk down the road where we found kayaks, canoe, and tubes and noodles to float on. In addition to swimming, fishing, and playing in the lake, we also took a drive to Scarborough Beach and Portland, both within a one hour drive. Trickey Pond is absolutely beautiful and a great place to spend some quality time with the family. Whether we chose to sit on the porch, lay in the hammock, or enjoy all of the things to do down at the lake, there was something for everyone."

  • Lovely & Secluded!

"First I must mention Karen was a pleasure to work with! She made it very easy to accommodate and book our family vacation. She was wonderful which made booking our vacation hassle-free. The Andrews home on the pond is beautiful! Very clean and very comfortable! The charm and appeal of the home was amazing. The layout/design made it unique to the lake. Love how the master bedroom had its own slider to the wraparound porch. Plenty of room for our family of five. Beds were very comfortable and house was tastefuly decorated. This home is also truly secluded. Very few neighboring homes and the peace and quiet allows you to hear the loons while you relax & de-stress. Our kids swam to the raft everyday except one (rain day). We kayaked and took in the peace and beauty of the pond each morning. We had ping-pong games, played cards and enjoyed the DVD/VHS movies as well. We also roasted hotdogs and made s'mores :-) The trail to the dock was awesome - the bridge over a tiny creek was the same design as the wraparound porch of the home. = very nice. We enjoyed the nature too. The kids were fascinated with the loons. The brochure you had about them on the desk was quite informative. We saw frogs, fish and spiders. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! This home is well-managed, beautiful and a serene place to enjoy!"

  • Fantastic Home in the Heart of Portland

"This home was a perfect for us. Initially we chose this property because of the beautiful roof top deck and the grille. We had wonderful breakfasts on the deck as well as some nice evening dinners and cocktails, enjoying the night sky. We stayed the week of Labor Day, which turned out to be extremely warm, and it was perfect in the mornings and evenings. The beautiful plants and flowers make it a great place to relax. The lay-out is nice, as it has 2 totally separate areas for sleeping; one bedroom, the larger of the two, is on the lower level, and the second bedroom is on the 3rd floor; both have their own bathrooms and a washer and dryer located on the lower level bedroom area. One of the most pleasant surprises to us is the incredible kitchen. Not only was it well stocked with almost anything you could need, it was a spacious area for a number of us to prepare a meal, or casually graze. Within a 10 minute walk of most of the restaurants and tourist areas in Portland, we seldom drove, and we enjoyed walking to our destinations, and felt very safe in the neighborhood. Some of the things we like doing are: taking the ferry to Peaks Island and renting bikes; going to restaurants like Fore Street and Back Bay Grille; hanging out at the Portland Lobster Company; and for sightseeing the Portland Discovery Land & See Lighthouse Tour is great. The home is very clean and comfortable, and the homeowners were extremely helpful. The listing description and pictures are very accurate. We would definitely recommend renting this property, and will hopefully return again."
