"We had a wonderful stay at the Log Cabin at Kents Hill. The cabin was extremely well maintained and very clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for more. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to "get away from it all" for a week or two. We made the trip to visit our daughter and her husband and our new born grandson. The stay at this beautiful cabin turned out to be another bonus to the trip."

  • Wonderful retreat location yet convenient!

"Really enjoyed our stay and working with the owner. Very friendly and helpful. It was more like staying in a friend's home than a rental!"

  • True Maine camp experiance

"Our family loved Ed's camp on parker pond. It provided us a true Maine camp experience. The comfort of the cabin and bunk house were a great retreat for my wife, 10 year old and 13 year old sons and myself. We will never forget the beautiful boardwalk that makes its way from the camp through the forest to the lake. We paddled, fished and explored the lake and its islands for days. We saw Loons, eagles, deer, fox and lots of fish! The local Farm stands and cafe's in the surrounding area were a big hit for lunch out or making dinner at camp. On a rainy day we went to the State Museum in Augusta which provided 4 floors of incredible Maine heritage. We cant wait to return soon."

  • Joel's Lakehouse Our Home Away From Home

"Lake Cobboseecontee & Joel's Lakehouse are the best vacation destination. This was our second time staying here. We loved it just as much this summer as we did last year. Very relaxing, very peaceful & a very welcoming home. Catching lg mouth bass, sm mouth bass, pike & yellow perch was a ton of fun. Great Lake for boating & swimming. Can't go wrong staying here for vacation. Joel & Ashley provide absolutely everything you need at the house. Can't speak highly enough of their Lakehouse or them. Very accommodating! We will be back."
