"This place is just amazing the way that the nature connects with the house it give you the sense that you are part of it only that you got all the commodities with it without affecting the environment and the life around it . We love fishing and here is really good if you know what you doing ,try talk to the locals that would give you some tips and some local knowledge about the lake . They are some sand bars in certain parts of the lake that we found using the pontoon boat and got the chance to meet some locals and believe me they get big bass fishing here . I did my first cast in one point of the lake and BOOM !! landed my first large mouth bass so happy !! .
The owners of the house always make sure everything is tight and ready to use they think about everything is just good to get to a place and get more of what you thought you would get .
We visit the Pemaquid light house not to far from the house maybe one hour and 20 minutes we have great day. Their you can see this historic place and also you can have a dinner or breakfast at the same time viewing the lobster man putting their traps . You also can take you wine and just sit down by the rocks and contemplate the sight . We enjoy seeing the people painting and trying to freeze the view on their canvas what a nice experience .
For lunch we went to eat lobsters we talk to some locals they told us to go to Muscongus Bay Lobsters maybe 15 minutes ride from pemaquid great place just take route 32 you can take your own wine and drinks believe me this is the place if you want to try the real maine ,the view ,the boats ,the people it all goes together just and amazing place to go . We got back and we did a lot kayaking if you wake up early you would love it and if you do it on the sunset you will experience the change of the colors on the sky can tell you got to see it .
Well hope this would make you book this house because for us it sure did ."

"Staying at this house was an incredible experience. The lake was pristine, the decor delightful, the hot tub amazing, and the surroundings were awe striking and begging to be explored. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to get a way for a long weekend, while experiencing nature in an entirely new and inspiring way. I can't imagine having booked a house better than this one"

"My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Log Home and enjoyed every minute of it. The seclusion was just the thing we needed as we celebrated our 10th anniversary. The deck was a perfect place to sip our coffee and read a book. Although we would have been content just staying at the cabin the entire time, the trail and lake was a great way to spend some time outdoors. We were able to borrow a canoe from a neighbor down the road and get thoroughly immersed in the natural beauty in which we found ourselves. When we ventured away from the woods, we were met with many great people as we went through the list of suggested places to visit left by Kathie. The notes that were left were so detailed and extremely helpful, and when we had questions, Kathie was only a text away. It is obvious she loves this region and wants to share this love with all. There are so many little villages nearby that provide a variety of experiences that are sure to cater to anyone's interests. We really enjoyed going out for breakfast at a nearby cafe called the Olde Post Office Cafe and hitting up a pub called the Liberal Cup. We even had our first full lobster dinner at the Lighthouse Wine and Seafood Market. I would definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone and everyone!"
