  • Great Maine Get-away

"Tall Pines is the perfect place to get away for a Maine escape! A comfortable cabin in a gorgeous setting -- what more could you want? Kathe and Norm have equipped the cabin with everything you need to enjoy your stay -- fully stocked kitchen, awesome deck, dock & fire pit. The peaceful atmosphere offers a great place to relax and rejuvenate in a private setting where you can enjoy amazing views and watching wildlife. Thanks again for letting us share your home!"

  • Excellent Maine getaway location

"My family had a WONDERFUL week in Maine thanks to this lovely, well kept, well equipped, private, clean cottage on beautiful Echo Lake. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location, and as soon as we arrived, the loons and owls serenaded us. We took full advantage of the canoe, kayaks, and swimming area. When it rained, we played board and card games in the ample, cosy living room. We felt right at home in this cottage! We will definitely keep this gem in mind for future visits to Maine. It was a fabulous getaway for a family with teenagers and a dog. Thanks for the memories!"

  • The Perfect Moment

"Since the 70's, my wife and I have spent some portion of every summer in Maine. For the last 3 Augusts we have stayed at Steve's Cove Point camp where we feel we have finally found our ideal place. We go to Maine for reasons probably different from most. We don't fish or hunt; we're not boaters; we don't even like s'mores! While Cove Point certainly offers a wealth of opportunities for a unique "camp experience," we are drawn there for the serenity, peace and the sheer beauty of this captivating setting. Here we can experience "the perfect moment" where time seems to stand still. It has become a type of sanctuary for us and helps restore our spirit. Others who seek a similar opportunity will surely find it here. The location permits easy day trips to explore what Maine has to offer. The quaint charm of the coastal towns like Belfast or the grandeur of Moosehead Lake or the scenic Kennebec River valley are within easy reach. Yet returning back to Cover Point is always most gratifying. Steve is without a doubt the best owner we have ever experienced. His attention to detail and the needs of his guests is exceptionable. He is truly concerned that our stay is outstanding and goes above and beyond to guarantee that. His love of Cove Point is always obvious and he instills that same feeling in us. It is hard to leave Cove Point; we always look forward to our return. Thanks Steve for sharing your bonnie, bonnie place with us!"

  • True Maine camp experiance

"Our family loved Ed's camp on parker pond. It provided us a true Maine camp experience. The comfort of the cabin and bunk house were a great retreat for my wife, 10 year old and 13 year old sons and myself. We will never forget the beautiful boardwalk that makes its way from the camp through the forest to the lake. We paddled, fished and explored the lake and its islands for days. We saw Loons, eagles, deer, fox and lots of fish! The local Farm stands and cafe's in the surrounding area were a big hit for lunch out or making dinner at camp. On a rainy day we went to the State Museum in Augusta which provided 4 floors of incredible Maine heritage. We cant wait to return soon."
