  • Joel's Lakehouse Our Home Away From Home

"Lake Cobboseecontee & Joel's Lakehouse are the best vacation destination. This was our second time staying here. We loved it just as much this summer as we did last year. Very relaxing, very peaceful & a very welcoming home. Catching lg mouth bass, sm mouth bass, pike & yellow perch was a ton of fun. Great Lake for boating & swimming. Can't go wrong staying here for vacation. Joel & Ashley provide absolutely everything you need at the house. Can't speak highly enough of their Lakehouse or them. Very accommodating! We will be back."

  • awesome lakefront property

"We rented this home on Great Moose Lake and could not have been happier! We swam in the crystal clear lake everyday and listenened to the loons sing in the evenings. It is a very private setting which worked out very well for us seeing we had also took our dog(which is a bully breed, that we saved from a shelter) who is not pet friendly. We had her off leash the entire week to be free to run and swim also, with no concerns because the house is so private. We would highly recommend a stay at this property."

  • Excellent Maine getaway location

"My family had a WONDERFUL week in Maine thanks to this lovely, well kept, well equipped, private, clean cottage on beautiful Echo Lake. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location, and as soon as we arrived, the loons and owls serenaded us. We took full advantage of the canoe, kayaks, and swimming area. When it rained, we played board and card games in the ample, cosy living room. We felt right at home in this cottage! We will definitely keep this gem in mind for future visits to Maine. It was a fabulous getaway for a family with teenagers and a dog. Thanks for the memories!"

  • Perfect Getawat

"My husband and I rented the cottage for our 5 year anniversary and had the most wonderful time. We were arriving late on Thursday night and Kathie had arranged to have a light left on and the heat turned on. It was a pleasure to arrive to a well-lit and warm home and a testament to how easy it was to work with the owner during the rental. The home was spotless and held everything we needed for our short stay, from extra blankets and towels to pots and pans and a wonderful array of local magazines. We utilized the Wi-Fi to listen to music and enjoyed our time cooking, relaxing in the hot tub and appreciating the peaceful Maine woods. We took Kathie's advice in the thoughtful and carefully executed "instructions" for the cabin and went for a short hike down to the Basin to take in the views and built fires on two occasions using the fire pit and ample firewood. We raved so highly of the place when we returned that our house sitter booked a trip up with his girlfriend for next month. We cannot wait for our next trip back!"
