"I just returned from the most relaxing enjoyable week at Ripley Neck Cottage. It had the most spectacular views looking out on the water and when the tide went out, you could walk over to the sandbar and look for driftwood and unusual little rocks to collect. At night you could sit outside and use the fire pit and when you looked up at the sky, the whole sky would be lit up with stars. When the moon came out and it was full when we were there, it was absolutely beautiful reflecting on the water. The cottage was immaculate and had a full range of dishes and cooking necessities. George is great to deal with and can answer any questions you might have. We went shopping to some of the local pottery shops, went to Bar Harbor shopping, went to the top of Cadillac Mountain and the views were amazing and visited different scenic spots in Acadia National Park. We also went to Schoodic Point and enjoyed climbing down the rocks to the water. This cottage is well worth it and not to be missed. You will love it so much there is no doubt you will want return every year."

"My family and I have been coming to Kendall Farm since the mid 1980's when Georgie's Gram Leona lived on the farm. We fell in love with the lake, the cottage, the loons and Eagles. We spent hours playing board games, swimming and boating. My son learned to sail on the lake and later learned to drive on Kendall Lane! Now in our 70's my husband and I returned in August after many years . Georgie continues to host guests in the two classic cottages! Wildflower was ready and filled with fresh farm flowers on our arrival. Georgie has a wealth of knowledge about the area and will help you plan day trips if you can tear yourself away from the lake. When you enter the farm grounds, see the lake and breathe the pine and flower scented air you will unwind, slow down and relax and start planning for your next visit.
Btw Have Georgie show you how to get to the mill pond swimming hole with a rope swing for"

"my husband, myself and our 2 year old dog returned to the cabin this summer. We loved it so much last year that we knew we wanted to return. The cabin is very secluded and equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. the only sounds to hear came from nature, crows and loons calling every evening and we caught several trout fishing off the dock. We love this spot so much, so many opportunities for hiking and the outdoors. the nearby town of Machias is small and no touristy which is really great. This is just one of the best vacation spots we've been to."

"My husband and I spent a fun filled week at Tide Watch. The house was beautiful with all of the comforts of home..big comfy bed, nice entertainment options and well equipped kitchen. Add in the fantastic view, direct access to the beach, and wonderful deck and large lawn for stargazing, and you've got a great place for hanging out or serving as a base camp for exploring the Down East coast. We brought our motorcycle and kayaks with us and trekked up.and down the coast from Acadia to Quoddy Head..great day trips, all made possible by Tide Watch ' s convenient central location. Quaint towns all around and plenty of restaurant options for good local fare as well as convenient shopping. Will definitely recommend to family and friends, and look forward to visiting again."
