"Wow! What a beautiful stay! This was our first experience with the Acadia area and won't be our last. We loved the scenery, the cottage is right on the bay. We were able to watch the lobster boats right in front of us, the changing tides, bonfires at night on the rocks watching the stars, and reading by the water. We took walks to Petit Manan for the scenery and blue berry picking, Schoodic Peninsula for breathtaking views, walking Cadillac Mountain at Acadia National Park. So much, can't fit it all in! Laura's cottage was just right, with all the supplies you need for baking, bedding, and privacy! We hope to return!"

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. It was magical from the first moment we arrived. In the evening we easily lit the wall mounted gas lights and cranked up the old Victrola to listen to some vintage jazz 78s while we cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen. You don't see or hear neighbors from the cottage. It's like your own private corner of Maine with gulls wheeling above and the sound of lobster boats puttering around in the bay. And the sea air mingled with the spicy scent of cedars and pines, is absolutely intoxicating. This was our favorite rental ever and we definitely plan to visit again soon."

"The cottage and the surrounding property were just wonderful. The interior of the cottage was rustic and unfinished. This added to the overall character of the place. The furniture was in good shape and the sofa was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for just about anything you can dream up for a meal. The cabinets hold a lot of goodies. Some of which we didn't discover until later in the stay. But that was probably because we didn't look thoroughly enough. We had a few meals on the table out on the deck to enjoy the view and to take advantage of the phenomenal weather. Words cannot fully describe the beauty of a Maine sunrise. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday soon. Ed with SeaScape Kayaks was a great tour guide. I highly recommend them for a great tour of the neighboring islands. We bought lobster from the Winter Harbor Coop and cooked them at the cottage. They were delicious. This place is so quiet. The only sounds are the gentle lapping of the waves, the occasional lobster boat, loons, eagles, etc. Thanks for a great week."
