"We enjoyed ourselves so much! The peace and rest that our Family has for a few short days was incredible. We picked blue berries, went on a Lobster Boat and then cooked the Lobster, played games, had lots of coffee, cooked meals and baked desserts in the spacious kitchen. Many late night visiting with Family and our Beautiful friend, Susan! It was a small piece of Heaven!

"My fiance and I, our little dog and my mother enjoyed a fantastic stay at Cape Split. The homeowners greeted us and immediately made us feel very comfortable and right at home, they are such incredibly nice people! We absolutely loved the remote location, peacefulness of nature and the breathtaking views and surroundings. We saw some unforgettable sunsets followed by star-filled night skies. It was an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - it's like we were on another planet. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was filled with sweet little treasures in every room. The grounds boasted gorgeous flowers all around, beautiful flower boxes and magical little hummingbirds. The fenced in area was perfect for our little dog, she loved exploring and we loved the security of knowing she was fenced in. We enjoyed fresh lobster which were able to buy right off the nearby boats, yum! We found it easy enough to travel to other areas such as Bar Harbor, where we spent an afternoon. My boyfriend actually proposed to me during our stay - so needless to say we will never forget this trip.
The only constructive feedback that we have is that the mattresses were not comfortable. Other than that it was a perfect trip and we highly recommend staying here. This place is truly magical and is surrounded by natural beauty everywhere you look! Thanks for sharing it J&D!"

"Our third year spending a week in this family cottage on Gouldsboro Bay, and have already asked Laura to book us for 2016. Quiet, rustic, oceanfront with a nice view and breezes off the bay through the screened porch even on hot days, just the way we like it. We recommend the Darthia Farmstand in Gouldsboro, Painted Pepper Farm's phenomenal goat's milk gelato, and the local farmer's markets (Milbridge or Machias) for fresh blueberry pies. Hikes nearby at Petit Manan Point, in the National Wildlife Refuge, with dogs welcome on leash, and up Pigeon Hill (on the road out to Petit Manan) are perfect for hot summer days. Looking forward to next year!"

"My husband and I spent a fun filled week at Tide Watch. The house was beautiful with all of the comforts of home..big comfy bed, nice entertainment options and well equipped kitchen. Add in the fantastic view, direct access to the beach, and wonderful deck and large lawn for stargazing, and you've got a great place for hanging out or serving as a base camp for exploring the Down East coast. We brought our motorcycle and kayaks with us and trekked up.and down the coast from Acadia to Quoddy Head..great day trips, all made possible by Tide Watch ' s convenient central location. Quaint towns all around and plenty of restaurant options for good local fare as well as convenient shopping. Will definitely recommend to family and friends, and look forward to visiting again."
