"We had the best time on the island it was quiet and relaxing. Our three dogs thought they had gone to heaven swimming and chasing the ducks. Janet and heidi were very helpfull. So if your looking for a quiet getaway this is the spot."

"Thank you Ryan, My family and I had a terrific time on our vacation. It was an excellent location. In addition to being right on the lake, we were also close to several ponds and rivers for fishing. We were close to the birches restaurant and lounge where we met several other very nice camp owners and shared laughs and beverages in the evenings. The home was very clean and well kept. Upon arrival, all beds had been made with clean linens, the kitchen was completely stocked with cooking supplies, the bathrooms were completely stocked with clean towels, soap, etc. Besides our groceries and personal belongings we really didn't need a thing! The accommodations were perfect for our entire family and the dogs. Ryan was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Was very sad to leave on the last day, as it was complete heaven during our stay, no worries in the world up there! We look forward to our return vacation there next year!"

"This chalet style cabin is welcoming and comfy. The big, beautiful windows in the front were great for viewing the ever changing big sky. They also provided a bonus viewing of the neighborhood deer with fawn ,and a big, healthy red fox scampering by at least once daily , and lightning bugs galore! We rode our ATV from Rockwood to Jackman and saw a bear in his berry patch. We boated on Moosehead to our hearts' content. The cabin offers all the amenities . The beds are well appointed and comfortable. Rockwood...the way life should be. Thanks Don & Donna Daigle for being attentive and gracious hosts."

"This log cabin is amazing! It is absolutely immaculate inside and beautifully decorated. We were very comfortable during our stay. We loved that we could bring our small dog with us and he absolutely enjoyed the dock and swimming in the river! We also loved that the owners allowed us to use their kayaks and took the two person kayak out exploring one full day. Anything major is about 20 mins away, which for us was not a problem, but there is a small gas station, grill/pub, and town store combination about 10 mins or less from the property if you need something desperately. Candace was a great communicator throughout and made our stay very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at the Greenville Inn. Next time, we will book in advance (they say to make reservations one week in advance) at the The Blair Hill Inn as well. These were slightly more upscale dining areas. We saw many moose along Routes 6 + 15 at dusk which is both exciting and nerve wracking at night! We took a moose cruise from The Birches which was just okay. We saw the tail end of one moose only. However, it was a nice way to see the lake. I wish we could stay here longer. We will definitely book again. Thank you so much Candace. This place is a real gem. You should post more pictures."
