  • Wonderful, private home!

"We stayed a week this past Sept with 3 couples and absolutely loved our stay. The pictures on this website do not do justice to how wonderful this house is. The bedrooms are good size with comfortable beds. My only complaint would be the small upper windows have no coverings so the morning sun comes in bright and early. The kitchen I large and has everything you could need and then some. There were tons of spices and other wonderful things in the pantry. We did not cook lobster there but if you did want to do so there is everything you would need. We loved the large great room and really enjoyed the fireplace. If I were to change anything it would be to put a bigger TV in. We did take advantage of the large movie selection they had. There were also lots of games. We love sitting on the deck and looking out at the bay and looking at the beautiful night sky. This home is a bit off the beaten path making for wonderful peace and quiet yet only about 15-20 minutes from the darling town of Camden. There are stores a short drive away but you do need a car if you are staying here. The property manager Janey was a delight to work with quickly responding to every call or email I sent. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Maine I would love to stay here again."

  • Best Place On Earth To Unwind

"Where to begin? Family friends had asked us to join them on vacation in what they called the best place on earth to unwind. How could that be….well we saw firsthand what they were referring to. Seas the Day was by far the most breathe taking, peaceful, place of serenity that we have visited yet. From the sunrise to the exceptional view of the sunset we were at peace. This home is so welcoming; the home owners have done vacationers a favor by allowing them to experience a slice of their heaven. To be able to enjoy sleeping with the sound of waves crashing, walking down to the water’s edge to see nature first hand, fresh cooked lobsters delivered to the door, Dot’s fresh baked pies daily, resting in the hammock for hours watching the ocean view or just to venture through the local towns to enjoy all that they have to offer…..the list is endless. My husband and I now know what they meant by Best Place on earth to Unwind and we will surely be back next year to enjoy this with them again! Bill & Bonnie have opened their home for others to enjoy, we thank you!!"

  • Maine Get-Away location

"A perfect quiet spot for my wife and I and our 2 dogs. The large back yard, fields, and pond for swimming were great, except I didn't allow enough time for fishing! The home is very well kept, neat as a pin, and all amenities worked perfectly. Our 7 day stay went by very fast, and we do hope to return next year!"

  • Couldn't have had a better stay.

"Everything you can think of to feel at home is provided at 'Angel's Roost'. We hosted a birthday party complete with Lobsters and Steak. There were pots for the lobsters and a propane grill for the steaks, and a dishwasher to clean it all up! Wonderful front porch and back deck, though not on the water, both have views of the Penobscot. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, what you would expect of a sleepy coastal town. A stone throw from the Searsport dock and shore, we launched our canoe for morning excursions. Very memorable. We will definitely stay again."
