  • A wonderfully peaceful, beautiful spot with a gorgeous water view and amazing sunsets!

"This was the second time my husband and I have spent time in this cabin near Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We were excited to come back this year. The house is very ample and really big inside. It has a great kitchen, well-appointed for anyone who enjoys cooking at home. We did breakfasts and most dinners and enjoyed two of the Boothbay restaurants on nights we didn't want to cook. It's clean and modern and thoroughly pleasant, with a very nice deck for morning coffee and evening wine and the light changes all day - amazing sunsets. A perfect location - secluded for peace and privacy but close enough to enjoy Boothbay and other attractions. The Botanical Gardens are spectacular, and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. Can't wait to come back!"

  • Wonderful Boothbay Area Vacation

"My husband and I and another couple had a wonderful time at your house in Boothbay last week. It was so great walking in the front door and looking right thru to the deck and the water beyond, what an intro. Your house was perfect for us, and we loved the location. I’m an early riser, so every morning I walked down Barter’s Island Rd over the two bridges, and out Knickerkane park. The early morning mist rising over the water where sailboats and lobster boats were moored made beautiful photo ops. I think I took more pictures in the neighborhood than I did throughout the the rest of our explorations. We explored the Boothbay region itself (highlights being the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, and a sunset cruise on the schooner Eastwind), Freeport (L.L.Bean), Bath (Maine Maritime Museum), Rockland (Farnsworth Art Museum, Puffin Visitor Center, and the Breakwater Lighthouse), and Camden. Your house was well situated for all those places and we took advantage of that. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us."

"The Mystic offered my family and friends a much needed relaxing vacation. The home offered everything we needed while we were there and the yard was amazing. We spent our days on the dock and in the lake for hours! It was vry hard to tear ourselves away to partcipate in all of the nearby sightseeing Boothbay had to offer. I can't wait to come back next year!!"

  • Perfection!

"We loved staying in this cottage! It was in a quiet area very close to all of the attractions Boothbay had to offer. Our dogs loved all of the hiking trails that were minutes away as well as hanging out on the screened in porch. Our first trip to Maine will definitely not be our last. I would recommend this cottage to anyone going to this area."
