"This was our first time at Linekin Chapel and it was amazing. We went with my in-laws and they too loved this place. It was like our home away from home! First, Jason and Kristen have such a beautiful place and were very responsive. My Father-in-law walked into The Chapel and said "WOW". They have done a beautiful job providing everything you might need, well-stocked, extremely comfortable and immaculate! The fruit and cheese platter was much appreciated with a bottle of sparkling wine, as well as the homemade chocolate chip cookies. We loved the sun room and especially the wrap-around deck. Having coffee in the morning on the deck or in the sun room was a plus. The Chapel was really quiet as well. We had one rainy day and we read books, played games, made a fire in the woodstove(cool and damp) which was awesome. They have cable and movies but we rarely watched T.V. My father-in-law found a good book to read as he had finished the one he brought. We also liked having the gas grill for cooking our meals. King Phillips Trail was a plus for me as I ran a few days during our stay in the morning and walked in the evening. It's a narrow road with curves so you just have to be careful, fortunately, there wasn't much traffic. Ocean Point is not to be missed, climbing rocks and yes the sunset is spectacular!! We did travel to Popham Beach, Pemaquid and Camden to Mt. Battie but it was always nice coming home to The Chapel. We would stay here again easily upon returning to Boothbay and I have already shared this beautiful, unique place with family and friends!"

"Green Landing was the perfect choice for our family vacation. We were a family of eight--2 sets of grandparents, our daughter and son-in-law, and our two grandchildren. Green Landing is set at the waters edge of the Damariscotta River where we watched the lobster boats haul in their catch each morning and evening. We could enjoy this view from either the expansive wrap around porch of the main house or on the dock just below the house. Our grandchildren loved crabbing off the dock and trying to catch lobster with their fishing poles. There is a huge table with chairs on the porch where we ate lobster and corn on the cob. In fact, the setting was so perfect that we ate most of our meals at the house because we couldn't find a restaurant that had comparable views! The East Boothbay General Store is withing a five minute walk and is definitely worth a visit. There was expansive green space for the children to run and play and plenty of games and puzzles for both adults and children. The location is ideal because you feel as though you're in your own private sanctuary, yet Boothbay Harbor and all its activity is minutes away. Nell, the owner, was a delight and promptly replaced the old modem with a new one so we would have Wifi. Green Landing is a beautiful, magical place that exceeded our expectations, and we would most definitely return."

"As someone who only rents houses that have a lot of reviews, I assume the reason this house doesn't have even more of them is because people don't want the secret to get out. It's a beautifully-decorated home with gorgeous views from the large patio and huge master bedroom. The other two bedrooms can still hear the waves well with their windows open. It's quiet and private (and has comfortable furniture in the art-filled living room), but close to Boothbay Harbor where you can catch all kinds of sightseeing boats. It's also near Ocean Point, which is stunning, and the East Boothbay General Store, which you'll find yourself going to repeatedly because the food (breakfast, lunch, or gourmet pizza for dinner) is actually great. Can't recommend it enough."

"My daughter, son-in-law and myself flew up from Florida to escape our high summer temperatures with my grandson and his wife from Boston joining us on the weekend. What a cozy home Sea Girt was with plenty of space for everyone to be with the group or by oneself with a book. The furnishings were rustic and inviting and we did not lack for any kitchen device we may have needed. We were mesmerized by the sea and beautiful sunsets and had fun watching the lobstermen checking their traps out front each day. We saw a wild turkey and a mink on the property and spotted a few seals and dolphins in the distance. We went to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens there in Boothbay which is absolutely beautiful. We also took an early evening puffin cruise out of New Harbor(saw over 20 on that trip) and a Boothbay island cruise--both lots of fun. I have already given information on this lovely home to several friends and would highly recommend it to everyone else! Joan"
