"The Starboard Cabin was better than expectations and everything was just perfect. The small apartment is decorated perfectly making your stay more than comfortable. The view from both the living room and the deck is great and a constant reminder that you are in Booth Bay. We were within walking distance to everything in town, including the best restaurant "Ports of Italy"."

"I’ve been to this spot multiple times and with different configurations of people (with family, with several other couples and with girlfriends). This Knickerbocker Lake rental property in Boothbay is everything it is purported to be in the property description. It is clean, beautiful, private, serene…and it caters to every whim. It has accommodations for every need, whether the main house for a family or multiple couples, a romantic cabin in the woods, plus a “clubhouse” offering flexibility for overflow accommodations with space to play or hangout, and a dock for swimming, kyacking and loon watching! It’s also centrally located. Moments away we’ve found the best lobster roll in town (Trevett’s Store), a show-stopping botanical garden, even recreation on the Sheepscot River (where you will want to kyack to see the seals). And Boothbay Harbor, no more than seven minutes away, has great shopping, eating and art galleries. This property has allowed us to daytrip to Rockland, Camden, Wiscasset, Freeport (HQ to L.L. Bean!), Portland, and Monhegan Island. Two of my pals even trekked to Acadia National Park and back in a day! Deciding what to do first is the biggest problem at this lakeside retreat!"

"The Moorings is the perfect vacation spot! It is a lovely, Maine house with charm and an amazing location right on the water. We spent a week at this house for a family reunion (there were 16 of us!) and absolutely fell in love. There was space for all of us, a kitchen that had more pots, pans, dishes, and glasses than most summer camps and a view from the porch that was worth every penny.
We brought our kayaks and paddleboards and tied them at the private dock. Since the Moorings is on a bay, we could boat and swim in the calm waters every day. It was heavenly. The cute, small residential area of Bayville had tennis and indoor ping pong and everyone we met was friendly and kind.
By the end of the trip, we were all scheming how we could own such a property on the coast of Maine. This house is a gem. We are so thankful to have found it for this week and we can't wait to return!"

"I treated my wife to a week in Maine for her 70th birthday and I could not have chosen a better place. An Tiggin cottage is a wonderfully comfortable and cozy home with beautiful gardens and placid views. The cottage is in great condition with all the amenities one would need. Our host, Brooke, has created a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Boothbay region. Our week, the last of September 2014, blessed us with terrific weather. We hope to come back again in 2015.
Thanks Brooke for sharing your cottage with us."
