  • Quiet Vacation in the Woods

"My husband and I have been to the Boothbay area many times and thoroughly enjoy our vacations. This rental provided us with a wonderful week of quiet and enjoyment in ME. We are both retired and unfortunately the stairs provided a challenge for my husband, but it also gave me an opportunity to "work out" in the outdoors. The local community is very nice and we enjoyed the pond but also liked the fact that it was close to town and made most of our destinations accessible. The cabin provided all our needs even though the weather didn't always cooperate. We will certainly be back to this wonderful area and are glad to have found a place to enjoy it!"

  • Cheryl-Mobile, AL

"Landings East was absolutely wonderful. Location was great, all you have to do is park your car and walk to everything. The view was even better!! Enjoyed coffee on the large deck every morning and drinks in the evening. The owners Shane & Gene were so hospitable and made our stay one we will never forget. The home was so clean and comfortable and had everything you could ask for. If you want the perfect place to stay for a great price stay at Landings East. Thanks again to Shane and Gene for a vacation we will never forget. We hope to be back next year!"

  • Artsy getaway very private

"Azure Teal was a charming place for staying near Boothbay Harbor. We live in the mountains and there was lots of woods around us, so we felt right at home. There was even a nice trail that our host created in the woods behind the house. This was a pet friendly rental that was great for our dog Tanner, he loved exploring and we loved having him with us on vacation. Our host had some great art work and touches that really connected to the earth, and we would definitely vacation there again if we come back to the area. The only complaint is that the house wasn't spotless, I believe we left it cleaner than when we arrived, but all in all, a great place to stay!"

  • Can’t get enough of this rental!

"I’ve been to this spot multiple times and with different configurations of people (with family, with several other couples and with girlfriends). This Knickerbocker Lake rental property in Boothbay is everything it is purported to be in the property description. It is clean, beautiful, private, serene…and it caters to every whim. It has accommodations for every need, whether the main house for a family or multiple couples, a romantic cabin in the woods, plus a “clubhouse” offering flexibility for overflow accommodations with space to play or hangout, and a dock for swimming, kyacking and loon watching! It’s also centrally located. Moments away we’ve found the best lobster roll in town (Trevett’s Store), a show-stopping botanical garden, even recreation on the Sheepscot River (where you will want to kyack to see the seals). And Boothbay Harbor, no more than seven minutes away, has great shopping, eating and art galleries. This property has allowed us to daytrip to Rockland, Camden, Wiscasset, Freeport (HQ to L.L. Bean!), Portland, and Monhegan Island. Two of my pals even trekked to Acadia National Park and back in a day! Deciding what to do first is the biggest problem at this lakeside retreat!"
