  • A Diamond

"This was our second year at Wicked Cute, and it was as wonderful as our first time last year. There is such a peace on Norton Pond! Rented Kayaks from Duck Trap(wonderful guy to work with) again and enjoyed Norton and the bigger Lake. Went sightseeing a little more this year and there is a wealth of places to visit, but it is always great to head back to Wicked Cute and that amazing view! Really enjoyed the farmers markets and the varied things they have."

  • Fantastic Location!

"What a perfectly inviting home only a short stroll into town! I stayed there with my mother, sister and 2 year old daughter and there was plenty of room. We loved enjoying a cup of tea on the front porch and the ease of walking into town. The neighbors were super friendly and we overall had a great time. Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your lovely town."

  • Wow! Better than the photos!

"It's rare that you look at photos of a place where you plan to stay which look so perfect and that your real life experience exceeds the glossy pictures! Christina's class and style resonate all over this magnificent property with every attention to detail. Waking up to the lake and its magnificent surrounds reminded me of so many movie scenes of that perfect retreat where you just want to contemplate life. We were a group of 10 who came together from as far as Australia, Germany and Israel to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was during the fall so this too made it special. I don't doubt however that every season would make the stay memorable for the surrounding walks, hikes, adventures and neighbouring restaurants as well as the nearby beauty of Belfast and Camden. Some of my favourite time was spent kayaking on the lake; sitting by the fire place in warm discussions as well as the home cooked meals made with a combination of the hand picked vegetables from the onsite organic farm, magnificent kitchen and the famous Maine Lobster (there is nothing better!). Our stay will always be memorable as an experience overall and for my birthday dinner on the porch with the fire going in a rare and warm atmosphere consistent so much with this special property. It is with great pleasure that I recommend this secluded and exclusive getaway. Thank you Christina for allowing us and others this wonderful experience. Like you, it is very special."

  • An Incredible Experience

"We had a spectacular vacation here. The two-house set up worked beautifully for us. Our family of four stayed at the lakeside cabin, which is rustic but sturdy and spotless and really charming. And our friends without children stayed at the upper house, which is more modern, with accompanying modern amenities. We were happy to keep the kids away from television and wireless, but were also happy to have access to it when we wanted, by just crossing the road. The owners have outfitted each house perfectly, so when we wanted to make pizza one night, voila - there was a pizza pan in the cabinet. And unlike most vacation homes we've rented, these are stocked with very good quality kitchen and dish ware. We were already familiar with this part of the Maine coast, but had never stayed so close to Camden. There is plenty to do and see if you're in the mood, but we spent most of our time in the kayaks, jumping off the dock, and throwing a ball into the lake for the dog to swim after. Except, of course, that we went into town almost every night for ice cream. And we had two spectacular dinners out -- one at Long Grain (Thai), and the other in Rockport at my new favorite restaurant, Shepherd's Pie. Oh, and there's a very sweet and pretty little public beach and park about a mile away, which is great for young kids because the entry to the water is very shallow, and the lake bottom has been cleared. It really is just a lovely, well-equipped, relaxing place to spend a vacation!"
