  • Home away from home

"Just returned from a long weekend stay at this warm and cozy place. We had a fabulous visit to this beautiful area and felt right at home in our wonderful accommodations. This home had everything you need and more. Skip and Judy are amazing hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one! (Homemade cookies, brownies, blueberry muffins and more). We would highly recommend staying here and we certainly plan on a repeat visit!! Thanks again Skip and Judy for making our weekend so enjoyable. It was truly a pleasure meeting both of you Hope to see you next June!! Dan & Nancy"

  • An Incredible Experience

"We had a spectacular vacation here. The two-house set up worked beautifully for us. Our family of four stayed at the lakeside cabin, which is rustic but sturdy and spotless and really charming. And our friends without children stayed at the upper house, which is more modern, with accompanying modern amenities. We were happy to keep the kids away from television and wireless, but were also happy to have access to it when we wanted, by just crossing the road. The owners have outfitted each house perfectly, so when we wanted to make pizza one night, voila - there was a pizza pan in the cabinet. And unlike most vacation homes we've rented, these are stocked with very good quality kitchen and dish ware. We were already familiar with this part of the Maine coast, but had never stayed so close to Camden. There is plenty to do and see if you're in the mood, but we spent most of our time in the kayaks, jumping off the dock, and throwing a ball into the lake for the dog to swim after. Except, of course, that we went into town almost every night for ice cream. And we had two spectacular dinners out -- one at Long Grain (Thai), and the other in Rockport at my new favorite restaurant, Shepherd's Pie. Oh, and there's a very sweet and pretty little public beach and park about a mile away, which is great for young kids because the entry to the water is very shallow, and the lake bottom has been cleared. It really is just a lovely, well-equipped, relaxing place to spend a vacation!"

  • Great expectation was met!

"Lovely, well-appointed apartment. Perfect location. We walked into town and to the harbor. We were right on the road to drive to Lake Meginticook where our friends were renting. The rental experience was easy and pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone."

  • Perfect!

"This was the perfect home away from home for us. We had a great time exploring Camden, hiking, kayaking and enjoying the harbor. It was wonderful to have this very comfortable, private, adorable loft to return to. The location is great as it sits in a lovely Camden neighborhood close to everything. Lee and Kim are wonderful hosts making sure you have everything you need. Lee even treated us to a sail on Penobscot Bay a highlight of our trip! Would go back in a heart beat!"
