"I arrived from the UK with my two boys for a weeks vacation in Maine. Our main reason for coming to West Bath was to visit an old friend and his family who live locally but also to enjoy every thing Maine has to offer. We rent every year in Maine and Cape Cod and this house is right up there with the best of them. The location on the water is amazing (the boys swam and fished off the pier), the house really comfortable with all the amenities we would wish for. I would thoroughly recommend the house and will be planning to come back next year !"

"My husband's family goes to Christmas Cove each summer, and this time we wanted to find a place for just the two of us. The Captain's Quarters was absolutely perfect! It is a very large space, decorated with a fun nautical flair. All the furnishings were very comfortable and well laid out. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. I have only good things to say and can't wait to come back."

"I have been coming to Maine since 1993 and renting houses on the ocean. This cottage on Owl's Head is, by far, the nicest! In fact, this is my second visit. I retired in May, and my sisters, nieces and I wanted to go on a girls trip to celebrate so I recommended this cottage. My family loved it! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, they were struck by the charm of the place. Upon entering the main cottage, we were greeted with fresh flowers in the living room, fresh fruit on the dining room table, and beautiful views of the ocean from the dining room and kitchen. The owner even called us to make sure everything was to our liking. Other amenities included a wonderfully appointed kitchen, a large screen TV in the living room, and free WiFi. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and there are plenty of clean towels. And that's just the main cottage! The finished carriage house is a great place for kids with its own flat screen TV. One of my sisters stayed in the charming and fully furnished beach house down by the ocean and said she could stay there forever. During the day we explored light houses, hiked in nearby Camden Hills State Park, and took an easy day trip up to Acadia Nat'l Park. In the evenings back at the cottage, we enjoyed star gazing around a campfire down at the beach. I definitely recommend this wonderful cottage experience. I know I intend to return."

"My husband and I were looking for a place to relax and unwind and this was the perfect spot. All the comforts and amenities of home along with a few extras--lobster pot, kayaks, bicycles... We enjoyed cooking fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables in the spacious, fully equipped kitchen. When we didn't feel like cooking there were plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the house. We did not feel the need to leave the immediate area, but the house is a good location for those looking to take a day trip to Bangor, Booth Bay, Bar Harbor --maybe even Portland.
We loved kayaking in the harbor and having the kayaks available anytime we wanted was a big plus. There is a brand new YMCA less than a block away and I bought a week pass and enjoyed keeping up with my workout routine and using the shower over there. We are looking forward to our return visit in 2017--wish it could be sooner!"
