"This is an incredible home and I recommend it for a launching pad for exploring the mid coast of Maine. Worlds away from civilization while being close enough (10 minutes) for groceries, restaurants and sightseeing... Stayed here for a wedding weekend and wish I had more time and more of my family with me to enjoy the home, farm and salt water. It's a neatly preserved old Maine home with neat decorations and knick·knacks. Ideal for a romantic get away, family vacation or group of friends getting together to celebrate. It gets 4 out of 5 stars only because it did not have a shower (only a tub). Internet would be a bonus but you may want to get away. It does have satellite TV and movies for rainy day entertainment."

"Lovely small cabin on top of a cliff over looking a beautiful bay. My husband and I had a few days here while our children were away at camp. It was perfect for us. Although there are a number of houses in the area the cabin felt quite private. Great food options in the area from lobster on the shore to award winning dining. Kayaking in the bay was wonderful. Only negative was the closeness of the regional airport."

"Our stay in Marc's post and beam was absolutely wonderful. The craftsmanship and detail in his home is much to be admired. The home in on a cul de sac and overlooks a small harbor filled with lobster boats. Close walk to enjoy lobster and seafood delights bringing along your favorite beverages. Close to Damorascotta for dining and strolling and Pemaquid Beach. Route 32 recently paved making for excellent biking. Truly enjoyed stay and will definitely return."

"We stayed at this lovely home for a week. We had 4 adults 3 children and 2 dogs and the property had everything we needed and PLENTY of space and comfortable amenities. We were thrilled to find a place that is pet-friendly! We swam, kayaked, clammed at low tide, and paddle boarded off the rocky beach in Atkins Bay. We enjoyed many meals at home - with amazing views from the deck. The kids and dogs enjoyed exploring the terrain and found wild blueberries growing in the backyard. We all slept and hung out very comfortably with room to spare. The climate is fantastic and we enjoyed sleeping with cool breezes coming through the many windows at night. The kids enjoyed downtime watching their favorite shows (cable and wifi easy to connect to). We enjoyed taking walks through the wooded neighborhood. There is ample parking on the property for multiple vehicles and plenty of storage. The property owners go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay and are very easy to get in touch with should you need anything or need to ask for recommendations. There are great restaurants and beaches and convenience shops nearby. Stores: Percy's (postcards and t-shirts) and Bisson's. Restaurants we dined in Spinney's (Phippsburg), The Taste of Maine (Bath), Kelmar's (Boothbay Harbour), the Snack Bar (Small Point), The Five Islands Lobster Co. (Georgetown) - fresh cooked lobsters, BYOB, outdoor dining with gorgeous views- highly recommend!! and Otto's (Portland). Places we visited and highly recommend: Popham Beach State Park- beach pass included with your stay (spacious, pristine beach with treasures galore to be found including sand dollars - climbing on rocky islands at low tide and the clearest ocean I have ever swam in), Fort Popham, Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse (near Portland), LL Bean (Freeport), Boothbay Harbor (quaint with great shops), and Georgetown. Be sure to stop at Shaw's off of Rt 1 in Bath to do your major grocery shopping before you arrive. We highly recommend this property and hope to be back again soon. This is the place to go if you want to relax and create wonderful memories."
