  • All the comforts of home!

"We had a wonderful time. This was our first visit to Maine and we will definitely be back. The cottage is in a great location. Port Clyde is a quaint little town with the best waterfront lobster we have ever had at the "Dip Net". Debra and Phil are very friendly and had everything that you might possibly need in the cottage, right down to a fresh vase of wildflowers on the table."

  • 2 1/2 Months of Fabulous Fun!

"My husband and I stayed at this great house from late September into early December 2014. We wanted a warm, inviting house to have an empty nest experience and watch the fall colors wash over Maine. Our time here was really terrific and this house fulfilled our wishes. We had guests sprinkled throughout our stay and there was always plenty of room and everyone exclaimed how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen is amazing and incredibly well appointed. If you need it, it's in there! A Viking Stove and butcher block countertops made cooking Thanksgiving dinner with visiting family members truly joyous. We invited new Camden friends to dinner and ended up hosting dinner for 16 people, and we all fit (snugly) in the dining/kitchen area. It felt like home....but better! The location cannot be beat! Walk into town easily for tasty dinners, fun shopping, a really great library or to stroll through the harbor. Walk a block in the opposite direction and you're at Laite Beach and park where you can have fun with kids and dogs, or enjoy a glass of wine while watching the evening sun change the color of the water. Any issue we had was quickly and cheerfully attended to by Kate. We would be delighted to stay here again! The only people who I would not recommend this house to is someone who is unable to navigate stairs. There is not a downstairs bedroom, though in a pinch, they could sleep on the couch because there is a downstairs bathroom."

  • Schooners Landing

"We love everything about Schooner’s Landing, and feel so comfortable and at home there. It is truly heaven on earth and we can’t wait for the next opportunity to visit. It’s beautiful, peaceful and so relaxing. We especially enjoy sailing, bird watching, visiting wineries, cooking and sharing great meals on the round table in the big bay window. Everything is just perfect. And did we mention blueberries and lobster? Wonderful lifelong memories are made here! Paula and Michael are just wonderful people and their home reflects this. • Maine farmhouse with European vibe

"Quiet comfortable antique Maine farmhouse with European vibe. Off the beaten path but within scenic drives to surrounding peninsulas. Birch Point State Park, Owls Head recommended. Artisan pizza can pick up on way back "home" in Waldoboro. Waterman's Lobster for best soft shell and great crab roll. Olson house for a stroll over farmland and taste of Wyeth inspiration Rockland Rockport and Camden for quintessential Maine coast and village activities. Or just stay hang out at farmhouse in Friendship and soak in silence in a secluded but not isolated location. On beautiful country walking road. If you want privacy, just ask owners if anyone will be on other side of house during your stay. Owners make it easy to rent and welcome you with nice libations in fridge and supply basics such as coffee and spices for home cooking if needed."
