"Our family had a wonderful vacation at this property. The home is very spacious and well equipped. There beautiful views from the many windows in the living room and from the balcony in the master bedroom which was large and extremely comfortable. There is a lovely screened in porch to sit in and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Sheepscot river below. We rented kayaks in town and had them delivered and enjoyed the water almost every day. The house is convenient to Bath, Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. For dinner don't miss the Montsweag Roadhouse (comfort food) or the Newcastle Public House (organic, local). This home is very clean and has all the modern necessities. Would definitely choose Riverwind again."

"My Sisters and I picked Maine this year for our annual family get together.I happened upon this house on VRBO and loved it immediately. There are essentially three wings to the house which made it easy for our families to get together but also to spend time separate if needed. There were fresh linens including towels when we arrived. The view from all the windows overlooking the Cove was amazing every day. Our favorite part of the day was watching the tide roll in and out. The house was completely outfitted with dishes, pots and pans, and a grill to give us all the comforts of home. We were conveniently located to everything including sailing, deep sea fishing, wandering art exhibits and state parks. The owners had two Kayaks there which the kids loved using. They even made sure there were life jackets randomly sized for everyone. Mark and Alice took some of us our on their boat for a joyful couple hours. There are several fresh fish/lobster options right down the road. You can stop by the Co-op and purchase fresh lobster from the fisherman or visit the fishing Co-op right outside of town where the local fishermen bring their fish to sell. The owners not only invested to make sure we had a comfortable place to stay, they went out of their way to share the reasons they love the area. Those little known facts about a place you just can't Google such as locations famous for paintings like N.C. Wyeth. My only regret is we had to leave this little bit of paradise to come back home. Great Memories made in the rental and Port Clyde. We will be visiting again soon!"

"We rented Greywoods for a week after our son's wedding in Cambridge and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Maine. We had friends and family from Boston join us throughout the week and the house easily accommodated our guests. The setting is great and the eagles are a bonus. Judy is a joy to work with and we really appreciated her sharing their family home in Maine with us."

A GRAND DOWAGER ....SHE PRESIDES OVER PENOBSCOT BAY....BEAUTIFUL
"We drove along and then saw her this grand old house. She sat on a crest of green lawn with glorious views of the bay.The porch in back along the whole length and side was our first rest. The inside architectural accents were so appealing and the fireplace was provided with more than enough wood which we used every night. A big plus is that the beds were great...I have rented on VRBO and been once greatly disappointed but not at his house. The dining room is a grand room with wonderful lights all around from another year. The eyebrow latticed entry made you wonder about the men who built it...so talented. There were wonderful mementos of children and adults....shells all around...little rocks in the dining room drawer with names of probably all the adults and all the little ones to be used as place markers. The so comfortable leather chairs in the living room cushioned me each morning with a cup of coffee. I love Pee-G hydrangeas and big vase of them was on the coffee table. This is a house that has not been ruined by "updating"....the tubs are grand old tubs, the light switches are the old button type I love. The kitchen is so well stocked with stem ware, dishes and flatware....the old style sink was great. If you are so uptight that you must have a completely "modern" kitchen then think again. This one has every comfort. This is a great opportunity to live with a grand staircase, soaring ceilings, well done stepping stones to the bay below, a refrigerator from another era brought to this time by engineer skill. You might think you were of the privileged class just after the turn of the century. You will love this place. You will be privileged."
