Quaint, well-equipped cabin in a peaceful location
"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Camp Hope, and our daughters enjoyed fishing in the lake. The screened porch was a peaceful place to sit in the evening, and the cabin was equipped and furnished with anything necessary. The owner was extremely helpful with our stay, and I would highly recommend!"

"We recently spent a week at the Osprey cottage and it was exactly what we had hoped for. Beautiful and relaxing setting, nicely maintained cottage, clean, comfortable furniture, close to lots of activities for kids and adults and downtown Boothbay Harbor. Bill and Lisa were helpful and responsive, and the neighbors in the community were friendly and welcoming. Absolutely no complaints."

"Our great experience started right with our initial contact. Kirsten was extremely helpful, very quick to reply and she answered every question completely (and we had a lot of them). Upon arrival we were met by Becky who made sure we had everything we needed. The personal touch was very much appreciated.
The cottage far exceeded our expectations, it was clean, well cared for and very well appointed with all the things you would ever need. The view out of the back either on the boat shaped deck or direct from the living room or kitchen table was breath taking. We could watch the seals frolic on the rocks in the Damariscotta River day or night and this became one of our favorite things to do.
The location for us worked out perfectly it was about 60 miles to Portland and about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. There was a lot to do - from exploring the Pemaquid lighthouse to getting the freshest Loster cooked for you so you could bring it home to enjoy at Osiers Co-op (we went twice while we were there) we had great time in Maine and we loved staying at Becky and Kirsten's cottage. We highly recommend staying here if you can get a reservation. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed there and met some very nice people along the way!"

"Quiet lake house within close proximity to three great seaside towns with good restaurants and shopping. You get the best of both worlds with the woods and lakes as well as the ocean. The owners were great as we got lost coming in and they responded immediately. The house provided a great week of peaceful relaxation with kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Enjoyed watching and listening to the different birds. I highly recommend The Call of the Loon."
