"Love this house so much! This is our second year. Its like stepping back into our childhood homes in Maine. So warm and comfortable. From cozy fires in the "barn" to cookouts on the porch we always feel like we are "home". The house is so welcoming. We hope to be back next year."

Charming 100+ year old home, breath-taking waterfront view, spectacular sunrises!
"My son-in-law grew up spending his summers in Bayside, and he selected this beautiful property for our 2 week stay. Five bedrooms in the main house plus two in the carriage house gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves, but the huge porch (even bigger than it looks in the photos) was the place we all tended to congregate and enjoy the spectacular view of the Penobscot Bay, from before sunrise until late at night. Three of the bedrooms plus the TV room all have water views -- and we never closed the windows or the shades in our bedroom so we could enjoy it every waking moment, including some postcard worthy sunrises. Having both the century-old icebox-converted-to-a-refrigerator plus the modern refrigerator/freezer made keeping food and drinks for our large group a breeze, and the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking for a crowd. This Bayside cottage is just the place for those who want to stay in the village and venture no farther out than the Corner Store for the not-to-be-missed Maine blueberry ice cream and milkshakes, but it's also perfectly located for day trips to Acadia National Park, the quaint town of Belfast and the stately, historic city of Camden, or a climb of Bald Rock or Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park. We would love to return for another stay!"

"Lovely house, lovely spot. We had a great time relaxing in this beautiful house. Our dogs loved playing field next to the barn.
If you plan to use the rowboat, bring something to bail the rainwater out!"

"Again, for the second year, the accommodations were excellent. Location is ideal, with relatives in Rockland and Lincolnville. Maria is an excellent host, being there when needed, but behind the scenes. Everything about the property is 1st class and will do it again."
