"Azure Teal was a charming place for staying near Boothbay Harbor. We live in the mountains and there was lots of woods around us, so we felt right at home. There was even a nice trail that our host created in the woods behind the house. This was a pet friendly rental that was great for our dog Tanner, he loved exploring and we loved having him with us on vacation. Our host had some great art work and touches that really connected to the earth, and we would definitely vacation there again if we come back to the area. The only complaint is that the house wasn't spotless, I believe we left it cleaner than when we arrived, but all in all, a great place to stay!"

"My wife and I enjoyed a two week stay in the Maranatha Cottage in late August and early September. The cottage sits behind the larger house that’s also available as a rental from the same owner. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with a new refrigerator and stove and although there were only two of us, there is ample sleeping space for a larger group. The cottage sits a few dozen feet further back from the water than the main house but there’s a lovely view of the sunrise over the water from the master bedroom window. The two properties sit at the water’s edge at the end of a cul-de-sac so it’s very quiet and peaceful throughout the day. This was a working vacation and we were away each day until evening, so we especially enjoyed sipping a glass of wine on the beach at sunset. While the location feels remote, good restaurants, shopping and services are available a few miles away in Thomaston or Rockland. The excellent Slipway restaurant at the marina in Thomaston should not be missed. We had comfortable and enjoyable stay in the cottage and felt that it was very reasonably priced."

"Upon entering the Starboard Cabin, we were immediately entranced with the beauty and comfort of our surroundings. The decor was impeccable, yet offered the warmth and comfort of home. The complimentary basket of goodies was the extra added touch that ensured perfection. Peace and serenity engulfed us as we sat on the deck overlooking the harbor's beauty. The location was superb in offering us so many options within walking distance, although we didn't even have to leave the coziness of the cabin to enjoy our vacation. The owners were delightful and extremely gracious hosts. We are looking forward to a return trip to the Starboard Cabin in the near future. It was truly a "little piece of Heaven"...."

"I didnt get a chance to write a review after our stay here in August 2014. The cottage is absolutely darling and the view is gorgeous. We loved everything about this place. My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and 1 year old grandson. We have vacationed on Pemaquid as renters for over 20 years and stayed in many different places, this cottage was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed. We like to stay in real cottage type houses and this place fit the bill. The place was immaculate. The owners have thought of everything in this quaint compact rustic cottage. We hope to be able to come back here soon."
