"I brought my team here for a three night, three day retreat in September. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning again. The living room's monitor is HDMI-compatible, which allowed us to project presentations, and the kitchen was big enough for us to cook multi-course meals together as exercises in team-building and sustenance. The house is lovely and six adults were able to share the 2 bathrooms easily. It was a bit cool but we made fires and the gas fireplace offered lots of heat. I highly recommend this site for teams of up to seven looking to focus on a project or plan for the coming quarters. It would also be perfect for two families with kids vacationing together."

"We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Buttercup cottage! Clean, comfortable and roomy with an outdoor deck overlooking beautiful Linekin Bay. Plenty of linens, kitchen utensils, pans etc made our stay quite comfortable. We picked up lobsters/steamers from the local fish pier on two nights and had everything we needed to cook them at the cottage and enjoyed our feast while sitting on the deck! The bed was quite comfortable. Although there is no A/C, we enjoyed the cool breezes off the bay in the evening. There are two fans available if you should need them. We brought our kayak and were able to bring it across the street to Barrett's Park and kayak all around the bay. The cottage is within walking distance to town, maybe a 10-15 walk. The owners couldn't be nicer and were happy to point out all the great local places to visit. Their recommendations for dining were spot on! We had a wonderful week exploring Boothbay Harbor, New Harbor, a day at Monhegan Island, kayaking to Burnt Island light house, Maine's Botanical Garden and the many hiking preserves with well marked trails nearby. Don't forget to go to Wiscasset and lunch at Red's Eats. An awesome lobster roll experience!! The lines start early, be prepared. Buttercup had all the comforts of home. The eclectic decor was fascinating and tastefully thought out and displayed. Each day, I'd notice something that hadn't caught my eye previously. We would highly recommend a stay at Buttercup. We look forward to a return visit in the future. There's still much more exploring of Maine's mid coast to do."

"Atlantic Dreams is indeed truly special. Every positive comment by previous renters is absolutely true but I'll still add my 2 cents worth. First, it's about location, location, location. One of the reasons we rented this cottage was to have an unblocked view of the ocean and the rocky coast of Maine....Got that big time. We sat out on the deck every possible moment and although I brought plenty to read, I found myself spending much of the time simply gazing out at the ocean that was RIGHT THERE! Second, but not really second, the cottage itself was like something straight out of a Down East magazine. Whoever decorated the place got it absolutely right on, beautifully and comfortably decorated but not detracting from the awesome view outside. We both enjoyed our stay there so much that we've booked another 2 weeks at a future date."
